#PalmSunday and the ‘off cuts’ from the charred timber, used for the repair last week, have been fashioned into a small #Bible rest. It is now beneath the window created when the timber was taken out of the frame after the fire 116 years ago #HolyWeek #Easter #HistoryMatters

116 years after this charred timber was salvaged from the fire, it has been returned to the timber frame to repair a rotten section beside the chimney. A fantastically skilled structurally sound repair by #SandbachGlassAndBuildingServuces #Heritage #Tudor #History
