I think I’m pretty much done on here. Seeing videos I don’t want to see. It’s twisted on here and I’ve had enough.

🥹 Jurgen Klopp posted this for Jota: To Diogo, wherever you are now... When the whistle blows for the 2026 World Cup, everyone will not just look at the green pitch; our eyes and hearts will all turn toward the sky. You were always that brave, relentless warrior—the player who gave everything for the badge he wore, whether it was the famous red of Liverpool or your Portuguese national team jersey. Your tragic passing left a void and a heartache that no tournament or victory can ever fill. We used to talk a lot about this World Cup, and your immense passion to represent Portugal on the world's biggest stage. Today, despite your physical absence, I am absolutely certain that your fighting spirit and determined smile will be the most prominent presence in your teammates' dressing room. I am supporting Portugal in this tournament for you. I will cheer for your teammates because I know they won't just be playing for the trophy; they will be carrying your legacy and passion with every kick and every goal. Your number 21 jersey will remain alive in the memory of everyone who loved you and shared those historic moments with you. Rest in peace, my boy...❤🇵🇹

This is PC Jess Turnbull and aged just 19 she has died in the line of active duty.😔💔 She was struck by a Mercedes in a horrific crash while attending another collision in Northumberland.💔 Jess only joined Northumberland Police in September and was rushed to hospital where she was in a critical condition following the crash on the A189 in Cramlington. The force has now said she has died in hospital surrounded by her loved ones.💔 The driver of the Mercedes, a 73-year-old man, was arrested following the incident but then discharged. He has now been re-arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and released on bail. Chief Cons Jardine gave a moving tribute to Jess, she said: "Our thoughts very much continue to be with her family, friends and all those who have been impacted by this devastating loss. We will continue to support her loved ones in any way we can. "Policing is a family, and we are mourning the passing of not only a colleague and a friend, but also our own family member, and we will continue to support each other during this extremely difficult time. "Jess was relatively new in service, with so much still to look forward to in her career and life. She was a dedicated and committed officer who always sought to do her best to keep her communities safe. "Every single day police officers up and down the country face danger to protect the public. Thankfully, most go home, tragically on this occasion Jess did not. "I’m grateful to all those who wear the uniform with pride to keep us all safe. Jess made the ultimate sacrifice and will never be forgotten." Today the flag at Northumbria Police’s headquarters, in Wallsend, was flying at half mast

Wishing Maysum Abdullah a speedy recovery! He is the heroic teacher who tackled the schoolgirl with a knife at the Co-op Academy in Higher Blackley, Manchester earlier this week. While protecting other students, the father of one sustained injuries to his neck and hand. His wife Samia posted, ‘My husband entered teaching to make a positive difference in young people’s lives and he is truly a hero for protecting and safeguarding those children.’

Brutal Al Carns’ resignation letter: “…the NI Legacy Bill. I have worked to fix the Bill from the inside, but it remains unfit for purpose. It risks failing the very veterans it claims to protect.” Nobody in good conscience can support a PM who prosecutes British war heroes.

We owe those who serve the UK the kit to do the job and the loyalty to stand by them when it's done. We are failing on both. I’ve spent my whole time in government making that case. Number 10 will not listen, so I am resigning as Minister for the Armed Forces. Letter to the PM below.🫡🫡🫡⬇️⬇️

Lily-Mae Fisher. I never met her, but I had been following her for some time. As a CCF officer working with young people considering a military career, she was an extraordinary role model, not just for what she achieved, but for how generously she shared her journey.

A father and son, forever together. David Ian Kirton was shot down in his Spitfire over Manston on 8 August 1940 during the Battle of Britain. He rests beside his father, Royal Navy Serviceman James Henry Kirton, who died of pneumonia just two days before the ceasefire on 11 November 1918. They never met in life. Now they lie side by side forever. 🇬🇧Lest We Forget.
