Where has all the leadership gone?  If not for university presidents, law firm managing partners, and corporate chief executives standing up against bullies, who then will step up for the first amendment?  The “suspending indefinitely” of Jimmy Kimmel immediately after the Chairman of the FCC's aggressive yet hollow threatening of the Disney Company is yet another example of out-of-control intimidation.  Maybe the Constitution should have said, “Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, except in one’s political or financial self-interest.” By-the-way, for the record, this ex-CEO finds Jimmy Kimmel very talented and funny.

Nigel Farage has had a lot to say about other people's tax recently. But why doesn't he like talking about his own?

RT @iainoverton: I used to be invited onto the BBC a few times a year to talk about things related to conflict and war. About a year ago,…

Side by side on the @BBC homepage. Fuck them and fuck the UK government too. Defending the indefensible and wasting money on investigations on people who don't like mass murder.

I clicked a Google suggested article and ended up on GB News and got to see a whole new level of squeezing your audience (as is the right-wing way). Pay them to not track you - but still get ads! The perfect gift for the tinfoil hat wearer in your life.

China should just ban all exports to the US and leave Trump to piss himself for a while. The guy is too erratic to reason with - so just fuck him over completely and suffer through it until he fully backs down (and he obviously will). Also, US market reaction to this is dumb AF.

I see this guy post a lot and it's always the most moronic shit possible.
weird how the Signal messages too sensitive to publish Monday suddenly became safe to to publish today. Wonder if something happened in that intervening period

Maybe sometimes people get tired of lying down and acting like little bitches. I guess that’s something you probably wouldn’t understand as a Republican.

I guess the 4 years of nonsense the last time he was in office wasn't enough to make the media understand the rules of Trump: 1. He's completely full of shit. 2. See rule 1. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cwy3…

Does no-one in British media remember any of Trump's huge fuck-ups over his 4 years? All I'm hearing is how he fixed NATO, is friends to us all over here (minus the Labour party stuff - but that's fine, somehow??) and will fix the Ukraine and Israel issues. Wtaf?

Lemme just scroll through 800 of these comments to find people with something interesting to say. And lemme do that on every single post with a crumb of engagement. What fucking genius prioritised paid user replies then let those users earn cash by exploiting it? #bots

Noooo. Do not job hunt on the platform owned by the anti-union billionaire (unless your ultimate goal is a horse in a sexual harassment settlement).

@ZoeFranklinLD - I'm currently trying to submit a claim through Access to Work (so I've been approved after a 26 week wait 🙄) and am trying to set up an account to allow me to claim. This is the most hostile website I've ever seen and I'm embarrassed it exists @DWPgovuk. 1/x

I submitted a support request and apparently one of the methods on a letter they sent me 5 days ago is no longer a valid option. So my current best option is to subscribe to "Credit Karma" to avoid guessing what they know about my financial history and how they categorise...

My response to that. If their own website, support staff and correspondence still make mention of it then there's been a massive failure in the rollout of this change. The process is bad enough without this additional mess.
