Urgent, please retweet to help Coco find a FOSTER HOME #SUSSEX#UK - Must be able to attend local vet appointments. Abandoned, now in a council pound‼️
Yes ... yet ANOTHER abandoned, badly bred, deformed little Frenchie!!!! What on earth is wrong with this country!!!
Currently in council pound kennels and needing our help!
The 'owner' on her microchip has been contacted and says that they rehomed her before moving!
She was born on 1/4/21
Her teeth are understandably pretty dreadful, her breathing is poor and she is very underweight...
She will, no doubt need fairly extensive veterinary work but for now we need to get her to us and into foster to care for her while we help her recover
Thank you for reading and sharing

PODCAST | Different cases of organized resistance at Auschwitz
In the history of Auschwitz, there were instances when prisoners tried to resist. The most famous event is the Sonderkommando revolt that took place at Auschwitz II-Birkenau on 7 October 1944. This story is told in episode 21 of our podcast.
However, there were other cases of prisoners organising resistance in order to attack SS members, or to escape. These included:
-) the revolt and escape of prisoners from the Penal Company -) tragic events in the women's penal company -) mass escape of Soviet prisoners of war -) cases of desperate resistance in the dismantling room of a gas chamber.
Dr Piotr Setkiewicz, the head of the Museum Research Centre, tells the story of different cases or organized resistance at Auschwitz.

11 June 1942 | After morning roll call, more than 100 prisoners of the penal company marked with a black dot and several marked with a red dot are taken to work at the "Königsgraben" (royal ditch) pit.
About 320 prisoners marked with a red dot have to stand with bent knees and outstretched arms in the courtyard of the penal company. At 10 a.m. the manager of the camp Hans Aumeier entered with a few SS men and he ordered them to point out the instigators of the revolt and escape from the penal company on the previous day. Receiving no answer, Aumeier personally shot 17 prisoners and SS-Hauptscharführer Franz Hössler shot three more prisoners.
In the afternoon, a few more prisoners with a red dot were brought from the prisoners' infirmary in Birkenau and put with the others. They had to undress and take off their shoes. Their hands were tied behind their backs with barbed wire. After the SS guards arrived, the group of about 320 prisoners were taken to Bunker 1 and killed with gas.
