Monero has the third-largest developer community in crypto, built entirely on donations and ideological commitment, turns out you don't need a $400 million treasury or founder rewards to attract talent, you just need to build something worth building.

Every chain has a memecoin that gets valued in billions. It's a rite of tradition in crypto that it must happen for every new chain that launches. Ethereum had $PEPE and $SHIB, Solana had $BONK and $WIF. One memecoin always rises to the top and ends up sitting at billions. Memes are also genuinely useful. They attract retail investors as a sort of marketing spectacle. It’s a way to onboard millions of users to a chain. And they're fun! Meme culture has generated billions of dollars in revenue for Solana and its ecosystem. Right now a lot of that culture is rotating, Solana is dying and everyone is looking for where it should go next. I think it should go to Hyperliquid, and there's a way to make it happen. It's $MAX, Jeff's dog. That's the whole thesis. It's the founder's dog and now it's a coin. A place for everyone to start trenching somewhere that isn't a graveyard. The distribution is the same logic that made $HYPE work, airdropped to other $HYPE holders and no insider allocation. A memecoin living on Hyperliquid (fairly launched) traded on-chain, with a community forming around it. If it takes off it will be the first billion dollar memecoin traded natively on an orderbook. It also makes Hyperliquid into more than a DEX. Max is, in a dumb and perfect way, proof of trenches. Every coin that trades here, every joke that catches, is activity that used to go somewhere else. The bet is simple: Hyperliquid can host a big memecoin the way solana hosted BONK. If it can, that's the clearest signal there is that the trenches have a new home. I'm not promising Max is that coin, most memecoins go to zero and this one might too. But a billion dollar runner is going to emerge on this chain eventually. There's no law saying it has to be on Solana anymore. MAX has no utility, it doesn't stake, secure, govern, or earn you a thing. It is a picture of a dog, and it was airdropped to the Hyperliquid community at a rate of 10,000 $MAX per $HYPE. Buy it if you think it's funny and you want to help drag the trenches somewhere better. That's the entire reason to own it. Every chain needs a dog coin. Hyperliquid's is MAX. app.hyperliquid.xyz/trade/MA…

If you held $HYPE you got a stimulus check airdropped. Make memes great again on Hyperliquid. Check your wallet here: wagyu.xyz/airdrop-max

This is why I have been recommending that people only use @monero (with a self-custody XMR wallet) to deposit & withdraw from @HyperliquidX via Wagyu Exchange (app.wagyu.xyz). Using XMR protects against dust attacks, since XMR cannot be tainted.
⚠️ Warning: ⚠️ People are dust attacking with funds from HTX (now sanctioned by the UK) to random wallets. This taints your wallet’s risk score to extremely high. If you then deposit somewhere, your funds will be frozen. Be careful frens.

An AI model just found a soundness bug in Zcash's Orchard pool that sat hidden since 2022, meaning anyone could have minted unlimited counterfeit Zcash out of thin air. Worse, because it's a shielded pool, nobody can prove it didn't happen. While #Zcash holders were sweating, Pirate Chain users didn't lose a second of sleep. Zero panic. Pirate runs on Sapling, not Orchard, so it was never affected. Zero percent chance. This is why private by default wins. Zcash plays testnet, takes the risks, and finds the holes the hard way. Pirate watches, waits, audits the tech itself, and only ships it once it's proven safe. We sat down with a #PirateChain dev to break down what happened, why formal verification matters, and why optional privacy is no privacy at all.

Pirate Chain (ARRR) Unaffected by Zcash Orchard Vulnerability A recently disclosed issue in Zcash’s Orchard shielded pool could have allowed the creation of counterfeit ZEC. The bug has existed since 2022 and was fixed by Zcash on June 3, 2026 in an emergency hard fork. Pirate Chain (ARRR) is NOT affected. Pirate Chain (ARRR) is built on the Sapling shielded protocol and remains unaffected by the Zcash Orchard vulnerability. No ARRR funds are at risk. Pirate Chain's Orchard integration is underway and will uptake Zcash's Orchard bug fix, which will be extensively tested before deployment. Read more on the Pirate Chain blog. The privacy, security, and integrity of the Pirate Chain network and its users' funds remain our highest priority. Stay safe. Stay shielded.

HIP-4 markets = @Polymarket @Kalshi killer. Prediction markets are now fully onchain with permissionless deployments on Hyperliquid. I deployed a UI for it on outcome.wagyu.xyz. All roads lead to $HYPE.

Told you #XMR would stay #1 this year. Unfortunately it's not the year of the Linux desktop, but at least it's the year of "Privacy by default"
March Payment Stats are in… and the shift is hard to ignore. XMR: 69.72% BTC: 15.86% USDT: 14.41% FIAT: 0.01% Lightning: 0.00% Monero is firmly back in the lead. After February’s near 50/50 split, March shows a decisive move toward privacy again. $XMR 🥇 What stands out even more: $USDT is now nearly matching Bitcoin. That’s a rare alignment and a notable change in how customers have chosen to pay. $BTC remains strong part of the mix, but the gap has widened significantly.

Most CEXs have been treating Monero users as guilty-until-proven-innocent for years. Touch XMR and your withdrawal gets frozen, your account flagged - all in the name of "compliance" - which is often more compliance theatre🙃 Mad respect to the holdouts like Kraken who have done their best to push back, but they've even had to pull support for Monero in some jurisdictions. Here's my view. Centralised exchanges were never going to play nice for the sake of it. They're beholden to regulators who treat financial privacy as inherently criminal. None of this should surprise anyone. A solution that I'm advising, and that many of you know has me excited about its potential, is Wagyu (by @PerpetualCow). The whole schtick there is to have Monero tradeable on @HyperliquidX - which means no freeze risk. I know that Hyperliquid is largely a venue for traders, but for ordinary users that means they can deposit ETH, BTC, SOL, USDC, or USDT, swap for XMR, and withdraw that straight to their own wallet. If you were around Monero in its earliest days, before any exchange added it we used a thread on BitcoinTalk for OTC trades, and then someone setup a dedicated exchange (if memory serves it was bmr<dot>exchange<dot>to or something like that?) - dedicated exchanges have always had an edge that general exchanges can never have, and Wagyu Hyperliquid is no different. It's already the biggest exchange for XMR by a wide margin - both as an XMR-only exchange, and it's creeping up on Kucoin in terms of volume. If you actually use Monero (ie. not as a speculative vehicle), this is the easiest on-ramp we've had in a very long time. I’m ecstatic about the work we’re doing to make it more robust, and more decentralised! app.wagyu.xyz

Happy 12th Birthday, Monero! 🥳🎂🎉 x.com/themerit0crat/status/2…

Happy 12th Birthday, Monero! 🥳 She has entered her teenage years: old enough to see how f*cked the system is, strong enough to rebel, and burning with a fierce, raw desire to fix what's broken. Deep thanks to all her guardians throughout these years - the Monero devs and this unbreakable community - who kept her safe through every storm and helped her grow into this powerful force. The teen years are just the BEGINNING: explosive growth, unstoppable energy, and real rebellion are ahead💥
