Hey @kaspador_ . I would like to set the record straight. We (the Sparkle group) have consulted the #KSPR team on Kaspa KRC-721 protocol design and implementation. It is an original pure Rust implementation that uses a proprietary/customized Rusty Kaspa node.
It has nothing to do with Kasplex or what they did for KRC-20. #KSPR devs I had the privilege of interacting with are parsecs ahead of Kasplex.
“By taking Kasplex Indexer they were able to modify it to deploy KRC-721”… what a bunch of bull crap..
I’ll talk to them about open-sourcing it.

Disable auto-download media/images from your apps just in case.
On Telegram: Go to Settings Data and Storage - Automatic Media Download - Using Cellular and Using WiFi disable both

I really like this idea. it is very much still in Beta, and is missing many many features and consistency, but its potential is there.
On BTC something like this would be considered spam, not to mention any message would take forever.
On Kaspa it's a Tuesday.

Truly P2P Open sourced encrypted messaging on $kas.
Supports:
-Encrypted messages, so only the recipient can view messages sent for them.
-Encrypted file transfers up to 10kb.
-Import and export backups of all messages, so make sure you regularly backup for when Kaspa prunes.
Please note this is a beta release and should not be treated as your main kaspa wallet storage solution. 10 kas is enough to send 100's of thousands of messages.
To start a conversation with another user you need to create a "handshake" these handshake messages will cost 0.2 kas fees but if they/you accept 0.2 kas will be returned in the response. After the Handshake messages only cost transaction fees based off your message length.

kaspa-rest-server v1.5.0 released!
There is a couple of new features, the major one being the integration of the rusty #Kaspa Python bindings, allowing it to communicate to kaspad using wrpc ( it can use the resolver to connect to public nodes!).

I’ll be hosting Hans Moog @hus_qy for an introductory walkthrough on some performance aspects of RK. We will discuss pruning inefficiencies and potential improvements, a possible header compression scheme for bandwidth and storage optimization, and potentially other topics as time permits.
The purpose of the workshop is to walk through the code and provide detailed background on several non-critical optimization tasks, so that proficient newcomers will be able to take them on.

Please note that after the Crescendo Hardfork, the legacy KDX software will no longer be compatible with the Kaspa network and should no longer be used. Kaspa NG (KNG) has been developed to replace KDX and supports both core wallet standard and the legacy kaspanet web wallet.
