Bitcoin never has this problem. Any node verifies the supply itself. A tokenized stock breaks that. The SPCX shares sit in a custody account, the token sits on-chain, and nothing connects them. You are trusting the issuer's word that the reserve is real and fully there.

The number of networks which can make the same claim grows ever smaller. @Algorand had a lot of issues to overcome. But its value proposition continues to grow. Next major step they need to take: Increase the fees before supply is fully circulated for fiscal sustainability.
On this day 7 years ago, we produced block 0 on Algorand. 62 million blocks later, we're still running. No hitches, no downtime, not once. Here's to the next 7.

As i've said for roughly 5 years, since i first understood Bitcoin - with my opinion reinforced with its state in the subsequent years - Bitcoin was an amazing revolutionary idea, but ultimately flawed and falls short of its intended purpose.
My bullish/bearish take on bitcoin is that we shouldn’t blame any entity for buying too much of it, because if bitcoin can be killed by an entity buying it, then it wasn’t meant to be. If all it takes to kill bitcoin is a bullish entity that likes it enough to buy, then go home.

People like Saylor aren't bad because they buy or sell it, but because they refuse to acknowledge its shortcomings, and continue to spew falsehoods of its perceived utilities. Convincing others with their false narratives.

IMO the SpaceX IPO is massively overvalued. Considering their ambitions, its going to be many years before they're sustainable & profitable. But for crypto, regime change is the main factor for this market's uplift. We need an adult in the WH.
There's a clear reason why the markets are tanking massively in #Crypto as the type of investor willing to allocate funds into crypto is completely hyped by the upcoming SpaceX IPO. There's not appetite for crypto at all, until all of the other opportunities are passing by and a change in regime comes in.

Our statement on the UK government’s demand that all content on all devices sold or used in the country be scanned, on the presumption of nudity, using a dystopian combination of age verification and content scanning. This proposal will not safeguard children. It endangers us all. signal.org/blog/pdfs/2026-06…

Lets be honest, memecoins were always trash, nearly all of them were scams (which destroyed altcoin rallies). All memecoin users knew this yet participated anyway, which puts them in same IQ level as sheep. @Pumpfun simply made the meme scams scalable. You're all the problem!
Let's be honest, @PumpFun ruined memecoins We're seeing a MASS EXODUS away from Solana as millions of traders are migrating to new chains like $BNB, $TON & $SUI PumpFun did nothing except make themselves rich & create an easier way for serial developers to rug investors ZERO

And this brings us back to the old adage of "Verify, never Trust". With @Zcash you have to "Trust" the coin supply is as they say, whilst it can be "Verified" with @monero. This instantly makes $ZEC a meme gamble compared to $XMR
Unlike Zcash, the Monero supply is cryptographically auditable. github.com/DangerousFreedom1…

Honestly, this guy is just bad. Another one who started with a moral compass and value to a community, then sold himself out.
Zcash FIXED an inflation bug & you are all panicking... Stop overreacting! What matters is that the good guys caught it first: ZEC's team is competent! It was always known this could happen; it even happened before Privacy is too worthy a cause to get dragged down by ignorance

This is sensational! The 1st high school student in history to be sanctioned by an authortarian nation state. Exposing an illicit crypto network evading sanctions between Russia, Iran & N.Korea, moving over £350B, mostly using $A7A5, a Russian ruble stablecoin @Alexbrowder_ 🙇‍♂️
Proud to be the first high school student in the world to ever be sanctioned by an authoritarian regime for uncovering corruption. It just proves that the work I’ve done to expose Russias sanctions evasion stablecoin, A7A5, has touched a raw nerve. thetimes.com/world/russia-uk…

So FIFA have announced a ban on taking your own water bottles into stadiums citing player & staff safety. Considering the heat health risks this is nothing more than a grotesque money grab as they'll charge premium prices for water bottles in the stadiums. #FIFAWorldCup

Yup, @Algorand joint top with @NervosNetwork for post-quantum readiness! I'm not surprised, they're both technically exceptional. Some build for today, but the best build for tomorrow.

As an apparent 'decentralised' network i wonder if this aquisition was put to the community for a vote? I didn't hear anything about a vote @helium

I’ve really been contemplating what Bitcoin is useful for. It doesn’t generate income or interest, the price doesn’t follow TradFi, and the returns diminish over time. It’s not even good as a medium of exchange (expensive, clunky, traceable). I’d much rather invest in companies like $HYPE that generate real revenue and can therefore justify the valuation. Never been a fan of Bitcoin other than for speculation during bull runs and shorting all other times.

Despite what they claim, these 'Pride' events are rarely what most people consider 'family friendly'. The Tranny & Queer performers in particular are often highly sexualised. So if those responsible for tearing down the banners are local, fair play. bbc.com/news/articles/c4g958…

Why is it that so many of Trump's policy's and intention are of a socialist nature? Foreign (or any) competition drives innovation. Exactly what crypto is about. PROTECTIONISM IS REGRESSIVE! For anyone who celebrates this, you don't have a clue what you're doing.
LATEST: 🇺🇸 President Trump reaffirmed his intent to keep the US the "crypto capital of the world" and protect the industry from foreign competition.

Its always been obvious @saylor doesn't understand Bitcoin's limitations. Whilst the last $BTC could theoretically be mined over 100 years from now (at current hashrate), the reality is within 10-20 years it'll be unsustainable. Bitcoin was a great idea, but ultimately flawed
LATEST: 🏙️ Michael Saylor called Bitcoin "cyber Manhattan," saying owning it will make your descendants rich a thousand years from now.
