Long week of grinding, getting reps, and fun time with my teammates! First, team camp in Atlanta! Then, off to Newberry, Florida for PGF Show Me The Money! We didn’t get the result we wanted, but we went 9-1 finishing in the top 4 amongst a loaded field of 70 competitive teams! 🔥 I had a solid first weekend out going 13 for 24 (.542), OBP .586 with 7 RBI’s!! BRACKET SUNDAY!!! We went 5-0 against some very, very tough competition! In our games yesterday, we had to pull TOGETHER and scrape out the wins! We went 3-0 out scoring our opponents 28-8 yesterday in Newberry, FL at PGF Show Me The Money!! Great defense, tons of offense, and just getting after it! Over the last few days I’ve gotten a ton of work in and it felt awesome! First I took a 2 hour trip over to workout with my friend @macie_moo26 & one of the absolute best coaches ever @DeverBoaz! I always enjoy learning from Coach & Macie is one of my big sisters! Then my lesson with @clearyjr where we worked on various tee locations, isolation drills, improvement of my stride “hover”, side/front toss, and we always get some hack attack reps too! We are the 4A-2 Regional Champs after a long three days!! This is the first for my school since 2018! I’m so happy and proud of all my teammates! We faced some great competition that will prepare us for the next round! I hit .556 (5 for 9) with a .600 OBP!! I saw the ball well the entire round and executed when needed the most! First day of the Regional Tournament and we got the WIN punching our ticket to the State Tournament!! I put in alot of extra work yesterday and the day before … IT PAID OFF!!!
