We’re excited to welcome the newest cohort of Heritage Documentation Training (HDT) grantees. Selected through a highly competitive process, ten participants from Argentina, Bhutan, India, Mexico, Namibia, Nepal, Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and the United States are now in their second week of training. Together, they are building the skills needed to document and share cultural heritage using the latest 3D methodologies. Explore “Our Land, Our Story: Crossroads of History”—a free virtual museum experience featuring 25 interactive 3D artifacts, available worldwide on mobile or desktop. Explore here: tapestry.cyark.org/content/u… This launch reflects three years of close collaboration, including the training of 32 Ukrainian heritage professionals from 10 institutions. Trainees were instructed in 3D documentation and provided equipment for the ongoing digitization of at-risk heritage locally. Together, the teams have digitized over 350 archaeological sites and artifacts. This project is a collaboration between CyArk and Ukrainian partners @lab_archaic and the Odesa Archaeological Museum, with support from @IronMountain.
