Seen a lot of misinfo about the topic so let me clear some stuff up:
Essentials does NOT collect any data as they use the ICE protocol. Meaning by default it doesnt use any of their services to make a connection. In the cases they do only your UUID gets stored for a bit.

Classic example of people hating on things they don't know. While there are mods out there that do the same thing (e4mc and worldhost come to mind) Essentials does what it does.
No, it doesn't collect any useful user data. And while the cosmetics are bad imo, it still works.

This is so fucking stupid. Yes backups matter but to say you find it WILD is an insane take.
Hytale and Minecraft can exist in the same space together, they dont even apeal to the same audience. No need to drag one or the other trough the mud.
That beeing said, VS is better :)

Its WILD to me Minecraft after 15 years doesn't have this feature Hytale does... Hytale AUTOMATICALLY backs up your world every 30 minutes. I think it keeps maybe 8-10 backups? If you have corrupted world issues or anything, just go to your world folder. Its right there!

this is a very silly argument I hear. Mojang is a rather independent company from Microsoft for the most part (except maybe the marketplace bullshit); the Java team is not being hand-fed by Microsoft. Bedrock is made in Microsoft (in LA), Java is still made standalone in Sweden.
