📍Γενεύη, 10 Ιουνίου 2026 #InternationalLabourOrganization O Υπουργός Εργασίας και Κοινωνικών Ασφαλίσεων κ. @MMousiouttas χαιρέτισε σήμερα την Ολομέλεια της 114ης Ετήσιας Συνόδου του Διεθνούς Οργανισμού Εργασίας, εκπροσωπώντας την Κυπριακή Δημοκρατία, ως επικεφαλής Τριμερούς Αντιπροσωπείας. Στην παρέμβασή του, στο πλαίσιο της συζήτησης για το μέλλον της εργασίας και τον ρόλο της Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης στην προώθηση της αξιοπρεπούς εργασίας, ο Υπουργός υπογράμμισε ότι η Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη μετασχηματίζει ήδη τις αγορές εργασίας και τις κοινωνίες, τονίζοντας ότι η τεχνολογική πρόοδος πρέπει να υπηρετεί τον άνθρωπο και να συμβάλλει σε μια δίκαιη, χωρίς αποκλεισμούς και βιώσιμη ανάπτυξη. Επεσήμανε ότι το μέλλον της εργασίας δεν είναι προκαθορισμένο, αλλά εξαρτάται από τις πολιτικές επιλογές, τα ρυθμιστικά πλαίσια και τον ουσιαστικό κοινωνικό διάλογο. ➡️Αναφερόμενος στην Κυπριακή Προεδρία του Συμβουλίου της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης, ο κ. Μουσιούττας σημείωσε ότι η Κύπρος έχει θέσει ψηλά στην ευρωπαϊκή ατζέντα το μέλλον της εργασίας, την ποιοτική απασχόληση και τις δεξιότητες, δίνοντας ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στον αντίκτυπο της Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης στα εργασιακά δικαιώματα και στην ποιότητα της εργασίας. Στο πλαίσιο αυτό, αναφέρθηκε στη συζήτηση που πραγματοποιήθηκε, με πρωτοβουλία της Κυπριακής Προεδρίας, στο Συμβούλιο Υπουργών Απασχόλησης της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης στις 9 Μαρτίου 2026. Ο Υπουργός ανέδειξε επίσης τις θετικές επιδόσεις της κυπριακής οικονομίας και αγοράς εργασίας, σημειώνοντας ότι το ποσοστό απασχόλησης ανήλθε στο ιστορικά υψηλό 81,3% το 2025, ενώ η ανεργία μειώθηκε στο 4,4%, στο χαμηλότερο επίπεδο από το 2008. Παράλληλα, αναφέρθηκε στις πολιτικές ενίσχυσης των εισοδημάτων και της κοινωνικής προστασίας μέσω της εφαρμογής του εθνικού κατώτατου μισθού, της ανανέωσης συλλογικών συμβάσεων και στοχευμένων προγραμμάτων αναβάθμισης δεξιοτήτων. Καταλήγοντας, ο κ. Μουσιούττας υπογράμμισε τη σημασία του κοινωνικού διαλόγου και της τριμερούς συνεργασίας για τη διαχείριση των μετασχηματισμών που επιφέρει η Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη, τονίζοντας ότι οι αποφάσεις που λαμβάνονται σήμερα θα καθορίσουν όχι μόνο το μέλλον της εργασίας, αλλά και το μέλλον των κοινωνιών μας. #CY2026EU

Κατά τη διάρκεια της συμμετοχής του, ο κ. @MMousiouttas θα απευθύνει χαιρετισμό στην Ολομέλεια της Συνδιάσκεψης, σχετικά με την αξιοποίηση της τεχνητής νοημοσύνης για αξιοπρεπή εργασία και θα έχει διμερή συνάντηση με τον Γενικό Διευθυντή του Διεθνούς Οργανισμού Εργασίας, κ.
