TL;DR: We need a fairer way to reduce remaining Sybils and better reward real long-term supporters. Let’s discuss openly and figure it out together. Full context below: This week has been packed with travel and flights, so I saw this tweet much later than I should have. Thank you for your patience. I hear you, and truly, our goal is the same: the long-term growth and fairness of the entire ecosystem. From the very beginning of the airdrop, we tried to remove as many Sybil attackers as possible. But many still slipped through, and we watched thousands of accounts combine allocations and dump large amounts of tokens. We couldn’t simply ignore something that directly threatened the people who genuinely support this project. At the same time, logic-based Sybil filtering is never perfect, and yes, some innocent users were impacted. We take that seriously. Our whole team sat together and manually reviewed tens of thousands of accounts, but achieving perfect fairness in a process like this is extremely difficult. And now, with the remaining airdrops coming, we know there will still be Sybil-type accounts mixed in. So the real question becomes: how do we protect and reward long-term contributors more, while reducing Sybil influence in a way that feels fair to everyone? Before talking about solutions, I want to highlight something important. Over the past few months, the community has shown what real support looks like. Each month about 2~3 million TAKE is claimed, and a significant portion keeps getting staked despite the overall market conditions. This month in particular, around 40% of all claimed tokens were staked. That level of commitment is a major reason the price held so strongly even in one of the toughest market conditions. The impact was visible immediately. From August to November, the price moved from 0.06 to 0.17 to 0.29 and then stabilized around 0.30 during an extremely harsh month for the entire crypto market. That stability didn’t come from your contribution. The token’s resilience is a reflection of the community’s behavior, and this month’s strong staking participation played a significant role in supporting the market. Moving forward, we have several very important announcements and developments prepared that we believe will push the ecosystem into its next stage of growth. And I genuinely want the people who care about this project to grow with us and benefit with us. Receiving the airdrop is your right. Selling is also your right. But we need to be honest about one thing. Among the wallets claiming each month, there are still multi-account farmers, bots, and extractive users intentionally dumping large amount of tokens at market price who slow down the project’s growth and take value away from real supporters. This isn’t about restricting anyone. It’s about making sure the value created by this ecosystem flows toward the people who actually contribute, support, and stay, rather than toward those who only extract from it. So I want us to discuss this openly. How do we further reduce the influence of these remaining Sybil-type accounts while strengthening rewards for genuine contributors? If we solve this correctly, the next phase of growth will be bigger, stronger, and shared by the people who truly care about OVERTAKE.

I do appreciate team for acting to reduce the sybil attacks. They did used the sybil logics, tracked IPs and did a lot more for that but team forgot about something very basic. The social presence of a user. If you live actively in a town you will must have some social presence. your footsteps that anyone can follow and find you. So same like to know if some one really support @overtake_world and contribute for it's success. He must have some social presence. He must be active on x or discord giving feedback or suggestions doing yapping. So team should must check the discord roles here @0xneoguri can verify my words that those with discord role are 99% real users because the MODs worked day and night to ban abusers and bots. I was among the fastest users to achieve the mythic role in less than 17 days and i gave around 12-14 hours daily to get it and exalted is double struggle. So ofc sybils will not have discord roles. i attached an image regarding the roles data. Somnis the best game of web 3 powered by Overtake. I would like you to hear the community thoughts on this that how much struggle, time, skills and investment is needed to be in top 100-200 of Somnis. How many hours did you played the game daily. we have OGs like @liebe19_ @KOKOMOKOAI , @Sami0xB . Can some one with multiple accounts achieve this? Especially when we already banned most of abusers from Somnis. I will not mention GG:S as that game was easy to abuse for sybil gangs. I am ok with everything team did so far regarding sybil issue. But ignoring the things mentioned above was a big mistake that failed both previous sybil checks heavily. My suggestion now: Most of the sybil users don't even join the Discord server. We have 76.5k members on discord and among them many never sent a message. Many users might not even connected their social accounts on Overtake airdrop website. Even not followed the Overtake official account. Use the sybils logics teams use usually, track ip addresses do everything that is used to detect sybil. And then do another filteration check who is active on Overtake discord by checking the data in the pic you can decide what role you are gonna use to decide if some user is real contributor (if they claim they supported Overtake for 1 year they must have at least 1 role) Check if they follow overtake on X. Check if they played Somnis actively and what is their rank. Check if they did purchases for Somnis: the MBs and NFTs. And then you will get a list and among them most will be sybil for real and rest will be those who didn't contributed well in Overtake or just joined and forgot about Overtake and got some rewards for the work they did 1 week or for few days. So even if they also get marked sybil by mistake it's OK. Make some eligibility criteria so the accounts with little allocations with no proven activity can be filtered. On the lower tiers of SOmnis and GG:S it was easy to get huge alloction with almost 0 contribution and multiple accounts. So eliminate them. Let me again say discord roles, X activity, Somnis ranks (gamefest LB launchpool tiers) on chain purchases of Somnis NFTs and MBs are the keys to decide if someone is sybil or not. we don't need 3rd party services we don't need KYCs. We already have what is needed to know who is real and who is fake. Let's build Overtake stronger with real contributors not farmors or sybils. With an example i saw a user @iamiamakash marked as sybil have exalted role (we just have few exalted role holders around 67 i guess) And also participated in yapping but didn't made to LB. This show the love. Most of the CT ignored Overtake yapping. but that person was real OG Also part of top 100 ranks of SOmnis. Now imagine if we have used any of above mentioned filters this true contributor of Overtake never have suffered and hurt by Sybil tag. The user even got a follow back from @0xkibom during yapping. And about why this user got marked as sybil because the user have siblings and real life friends in Overtake community. They shared same IP they shared same CEX account due to their stupid government. Due to the centralized world rules. There are many other cases like this. I request the team please review all the account that are already marked as sybil and remove their sybil tag as mine was removed.
