Spatial Intelligence is a critical piece of the AI puzzle. This is my 2024 TED talk about the journey from evolution to AI, on how we build Spatial Intelligence. "Sight turned into insight; Seeing became understanding; Understanding led to action. All these gave rise to intelligence." 1/ ted.com/talks/fei_fei_li_wit…?

This is very important guidance for reporting clinical prediction models that use machine learning methods. It includes a handy checklist and insights from the Delphi survey. One benefit is that it ensures transparency regarding what was achieved in published papers.
NEW PAPER out today in @BMJ_latest TRIPOD AI: reporting recommendations for studies developing or validating prediction models for use in healthcare that use #machinelearning methods bmj.com/content/385/bmj-2023… #ArtificialIntelligence #AIstandards #OpenAccess Please share 🙏

I always check these guidelines when I am planning a study. Highly recommend to others that I teach.

On Friday, I was very proud of my students for what they achieved in their final-year project. It was a year-long journey with them, and it was exciting to watch them grow in confidence in project thinking, analytical skills and communication. @LJMU @LJMUResearch
Exciting to go to see today my final year students of #Mathematics to present their final year projects: AI algorithms to detect glaucoma, macular degeneration, progression to cognitive decline, and performance of powerlifters. Based on my research at @LJMUResearch @LJMU

Frustrated. Bad experience with COURSERA. Paid for COURSERA courses 10 days ago, and to this day I have no access to courses, and am not allowed to refund either. Sent 3 messages to customer service, but no response. Anyone has a similar experience?

A little piece I wrote for today’s i newspaper about why - I think - you don’t see more girls doing maths. In short: it’s death by a thousand cuts. inews.co.uk/opinion/hannah-f…
