YES!!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
After 107 Days, a significant amount of people, particularly ex-Biden staffers, asked the question: "Why didn't Kamala Harris advocate for herself earlier, then, if she was being mistreated by the WH team?"
The answer is: she did.
There are numerous articles with various sources from as early as 2021 that voice Harris' frustration with Biden's staff diminishing her accomplishments, not inviting her to meetings, literally keeping her out of rooms, not standing when she entered a room, laughing at her requests to tout her own experience — the list goes on.
What did the staffers decide to do about it?
Nothing.
You know why?
Because if they had let her be visible, if they had let her speak out and give examples of her capabilities, if they had refused to shove her in a box, she would've shone, too.
She would've been seen as better than Biden, perhaps: because, in a lot of ways, she was. Is.
The short story here is that 107 Days was far from the only time Harris spoke up about WH staff very explicitly undermining her and her role during her term as VP.
They systematically and deliberately stymied her, and when confronted, they doubled down.
To the detriment of her, Biden, and the entire country and world.
And if I'm her? You bet your ass I'm frustrated. Infuriated, probably. And it's no wonder she wants to do it again on her own terms in 2028.
Because this time around, she's refusing to be silenced. You can physically see the change in her: she's fiery, she swears, she's unfiltered, blunt, sharp, sometimes sassy.
She doesn't have to hide her political dexterity anymore, and that's why so many White 2028 hopefuls and consultants are talking her down.
Because they're terrified of her.
But we're with her all the damn way.
