Jacob Rees-Mogg today opened new North Sea oil and gas licensing.
This isn't about energy bills (it won't affect prices and renewables are 9x cheaper).
It's about profits for fossil fuel companies, who (coincidentally) donated £1,500,000 to the Tories since the last election.

Glad to get notice of @thameswater acting on lead hazard by starting replacement of pipes from water main to Dorchester Court.
The same notice says that lead pipes within buildings should also be replaced for a full resolution of the problem!

Water at Dorchester Court @court_union in #London flows through lead pipes. Over 1/2 of flats have lead levels over the legal limit & residents have to buy bottled water. Infants are particularly at risk as lead can cause miscarriage, pre-term birth, lower IQ & behavioural issues

Week ago more masonry fell off the buildings, this time from 3rd floor window lintel.
Landlord didn't notify residents - people walking underneath affected areas unaware.
Dangerous structures notice was already served ~20 years ago, ready for @lambeth_council to take action!

From the Evening Standard article - landlord again saying they are appealing @lambeth_council's enforcement action will only address hazards if given redevelopment (which evicts us all).
Contractors say bypassing lead pipes is cheap non-invasive, we are being held hostage!
