The BPS has done such great work highlighting the problems with 'diagnosis' in mental health and the need for interventions to be formulation-driven and collaborative. But to prescribe we would need to 'diagnose'.
Anyone else really disheartened by the current threat of psychologists being able to (so in the culture and pressures of mental health services, HAVING to) prescribe drugs? Make your views known to @BPSOfficial. @UKDCP please can we have a proper discussion & survey of members?

If a global pandemic won't finally make us realise that we are all human and that #mentalhealth #Stigma needs to end, I'm honestly not sure what will. I hope some of the learning lasts beyond the "crisis" period. I'm not too hopeful but I hope I am proven wrong!
