The Children, Young People, and Schools committee of @BrightonHoveCC has voted to approve the creation of a new priority group - children eligible for free school meals - in the secondary school admissions process in the city. We believe this is the first time this has happened.

Today @uniofbrighton has announced its intention to make more than 100 redundancies saving £17.9m. But our SMT have just SPENT a similar amount buying Virgin Active out of a lease.
We will fight this failure of management.
