Today is Rutgers Giving Day! There are many worthy causes on campus to give to (see below). I hope you'll consider giving to the @DIMACSCenter DIMACS math & computing research center: give.rutgersfoundation.org/d… . DIMACS is a consortium of several universities and companies based at Rutgers. For 20 years we have run a summer program to give undergrads to their first taste of research. For 20 years we have run a Reconnect program to expose teaching faculty to new areas of research and new ways to teach the topics. For 35 years we have brought researchers from all background and walks of life together for workshops to spark collaborations. Over the years, we have run some of the earliest workshops on many topics of research including prediction markets and differential privacy. We are strong! Help us get stronger! (And beyond DIMACS, here is a list of other good causes raising money today across Rutgers: give.rutgersfoundation.org/u… )
