Congratulations to @ecakitchin who has received the inaugural Musser Masters Scholarship through the Musser International Turfgrass Foundation. We are very proud of the work she was able to accomplish with @VTTurfgrass as our first @TheVTF endowed GRA Student obtaining her M.S. degree and we continue to be excited about the projects she is currently working on for her Ph.D. and as a Research & Extension specialist at @IndependenceGC #VaTurf

After a blessed 36 year career I’m officially retired from WCC. Visited my mentor John Spodnik’s grave to thank him for hiring & supporting me in my many endeavors. Thanks to all who have been a part of the journey, I appreciate all of you. WCC is in great hands with @ksmithwgcc

Not too long after I moved to the west burbs of Cleveland, I met @DLwebner who’d just become the new super at nearby Westwood CC. I congratulated him and said, “Hey let’s have lunch soon.” We never quite connected tho we saw each other a lot at events and meetings.
It became a longstanding running joke about “having lunch soon.”Well, today, a quarter of a century later, just weeks before he officially retires, we finally had lunch. Enjoy the next chapter my friend. You have earned it. 👍
