New publication from Menck's lab!!! 🧠
Analysis of transcriptome datasets specific to Cockayne Syndrome revealed significant changes in genes related to the MAPK, ERK1/2, PI3K-Akt pathways, neuronal processes and extracellular matrix metabolism.

The study shows pyrimidine dimers are the primary lesions contributing to UVA-induced mutagenesis in human NER deficient cells and also that UVA induces mutational signatures similar to those of UVB!!!
