Bill Maher asks Ana Kasparian which Middle Eastern country she would feel comfortable wearing โthat dressโ and then this happened.
MAHER: โIf you had to live in the Middle East. Any city. Where would you live where youโd be comfortable in that dress?โ
ANA: โIโm sure I would not be comfortable in this dress in any of the various Middle Eastern countries that have been destabilized byโโ
MAHER INTERRUPTS: โReally? Youโre not really blaming it on whitey, are you? Youโre blaming Islam on whitey?โ
ANA: โIโm not blaming Islam on whitey.โ
MAHER: โBut what youโre saying is we destabilize? Thatโs why you canโt wear that dress?โ
ANA: โDid we destabilize?โ
MAHER: โWait a second.โ
ANA: โWe were funding terrorist organizations in Syria during the Syrian civil war starting under the Obama administration.โ
MAHER: โWeโre talking about your dress.โ
ANA: โIt looks good, I know.โ
MAHER: โYouโre saying you canโt wear that dress in Syria because of whitey destabilizing?โ
ANA: โI didnโt say that.โ
MAHER: โOkay, thatโs what it sounded likeโฆ When I asked about the dress, you went right to destabilize. So is that why you couldnโt wear that dress?โ
ANA: โYou want me to talk about jihadism and Islam.โ
MAHER: โWhy wonโt you? Why wonโt you?โ
ANA: โI donโt believe in jihadism, which is why Iโm furious the United States just had significant Al Qaeda terrorists in the White House.โ
MAHER: โBut itโs not just jihadism that is preventing you from wearing that dress there. Are you saying every Muslim is a jihadist? I donโt think they are.โ
ANA: โBill. Bill, Bill, Bill. Letโs focus for a second.โ
MAHER: โNo, you wonโt answer this question.โ
