On March 18th, D.O. CAVA presented the five new Cavas de Guarda Superior de Paraje Calificado in an exclusive tasting led by Ferran Centelles. A session to explore the excellence of this category through creations from Carles Andreu, Sumarroca and Vins El Cep, each one reflecting its origin and craftsmanship. During the tasting, Ferran Centelles summed it up: “The Cava de Guarda Superior de Paraje Calificado is the most precise expression of origin.” A vision that reinforces a path focused on quality, authenticity and respect for origin. La D.O. CAVA ha cerrado el ejercicio 2025 con 190 millones de botellas comercializadas, consolidando su apuesta por la calidad y el valor. Los Cavas de Guarda Superior —Reserva, Gran Reserva y Cava de Paraje Calificado— crecieron un 1,41%, reforzando su papel como motor de la categoría. La estrategia se centra en largas crianzas, origen y excelencia, fundamentos que proyectan el futuro del Cava. Durante el año, más de 200 profesionales visitaron el territorio del Cava y se intensificó la comunicación internacional, con un encuentro en Canadá, seis actos en Japón y la segunda edición del congreso Cava Meeting, que reunió a más de 120 profesionales del sector.
