Yesterday we assisted @Plymouth_Police and @MAEnviroPolice with a report of ~18 people in the marsh, obstructing the roadway and getting close to the Snowy Owls for pictures here at Duxbury Beach. Please remember to stay out of the marsh and to keep good distance from Snowy Owls!

⚠️ Be Advised: Use caution when traveling along the Duxbury Beach backroad. The road is covered in ice and is very slippery. Our staff have witnessed many incidents due to the ice conditions. Travel slow. ⚠️

We would like to remind everyone that hunting and discharging of firearms is prohibited at Duxbury Beach at all times. Units just cleared a report of shell casings found on the ground in the area of the First Crossover.

Beach Update: As repairs to the beach and backroad continue from the recent storms, we have been advised that the ORV portion of Duxbury Beach will remain closed for a few more days. We will post here as soon as we are advised that we can reopen. Thank you all for your patience.

Be advised: If you plan on traveling down the beach backroad, please use caution as portions of the roadway have eroded away from the recent storm. Crews are working to repair the roadway. The road is still passable.
