On 01/31/2023, at 8:45AM, Trooper Curtis Putz was struck by a vehicle while investigating a crash on I-45 in Navarro County. He was seriously injured and transported to a Dallas area hospital where he remains in serious condition. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

Yesterday, a Montgomery Co. Trooper arrested the driver and a passenger of a vehicle following a traffic stop and discovered the duo was transporting a kilo of cocaine.

On today’s date in 1964, Highway Patrolman Bobby Lee Maynard was killed in an automobile accident.
Patrolman Maynard gave his life protecting & serving his community & the great state of Texas.
