We are really excited about this project! Combining #additivemanufacturing, #robotics, and #polymerscience (w/ our good friends @TELongLab) to make tire retreading more sustainable 😍
Old tires can get a second life with less waste in this new process developed in an interdisciplinary collaboration including the @DREAMSLab, @TimLongASU, and @Michelin.

In our latest paper, "Impact of binder on part densification: Enhancing #binderjetting part properties through the fabrication of shelled geometries," we show that printing shelled geometries results in denser and stronger parts! Congrats @KaziMoshiur08
