🇬🇧Embassy and Defence Section 🇰🇼 were delighted to host a “first”, a dinner for Kuwait Armed Forces alumni of some of 🇬🇧’s most prestigious military academies and colleges as part of the celebrations of 125 years of official diplomatic relations.
Over 600 Kuwaiti officers have attended these world leading academies and colleges, the first in 1952, many winning prestigious awards and accolades. This Professional Military Education is a critical component of the 🇰🇼 and the 🇬🇧 broader defence & security partnership.

سعادة سفيرة المملكة المتحدة لدى الكويت تقيم مأدبة عشاء للضباط خريجي المعاهد والكليات العسكرية البريطانية
خلال رعايتها للحفل:
- رئيس هيئة التعليم العسكري: نفخر بتواجدنا في هذا الحفل والذي يعكس عمق العلاقة الكويتية البريطانية الممتدة لـ125 عاماً.
- سعادة سفيرة المملكة المتحدة لدى الكويت : تكمن أهمية هذا الحفل والذي يقام لأول مرة بتبادل الخبرات والتجارب بين الضباط الخريجون الكويتيون والبريطانيون.
برعاية سعادة سفيرة المملكة المتحدة السيدة بليندا لويس وملحق الدفاع البريطاني لدى الكويت ، أقيم ليلة أمس حفل عشاء على شرف ضباط القوات المسلحة ووزارة الداخلية والحرس الوطني خريجي الأكاديميات والمعاهد والكليات العسكرية البريطانية.
وذلك بحضور سعادة وكيل وزارة الدفاع الشيخ الدكتور عبدالله مشعل الصباح ورئيس هيئة التعليم العسكري اللواء الركن فهد محمد عبدالله، وعدد من الضباط الكويتين خريجي المعاهد والأكاديميات العسكرية البريطانية من مختلف القطاعات العسكرية.
تعتبر هذه الفعالية جزءاً من الاحتفالات بالذكرى السنوية الـ 125 للعلاقات التاريخية بين دولة الكويت والمملكة المتحدة. والتي تعكس عمق العلاقات المتجذرة في مجال التعاون الدفاعي والعسكري.
تخلل الحفل تكريماً لمجموعة من الضباط الكويتيين الحاصلين على درجات التميز والشرف في تعليمهم أثناء الدورات.
