It is great to see this solidarity from the Parliament in Canada for combatting caste-based discrimination in Canada. We need the same for #casteintheuk!
May 6 was recognized as “Dr Ambedkar Equality Day” in the Parliament of Canada. MPs from across the party line resolved to address the issues of caste-based discrimination. Following this, an event was marked to celebrate Jayanti & Equality Day at Parliament Hill, Ottawa.
