We have announced funding of £159,999 to support twenty arts and community organisations across #NorthernIreland in delivering a series of community-based arts projects benefitting older people.
The funding is part of the #NationalLottery Arts and Older People Programme, a pioneering initiative funded by @LottoGoodCauses and @publichealthni, which aims to tackle loneliness as-well as promote positive mental health and well-being among older people, through engagement with the arts.

2025 is well underway for Belfast Boys who closed last Friday's AHRC Critical Dance Pedagogy Network event @QUBelfast.

Sutemos had a ball in Limerick this weekend with partner organisation @DanceLimerick working with @VDurrer & @aoifepea. The group is part of the Youth Dance Matters research, a collaboration between @QUBelfast & @ucddublin.

👍 It's a massive thumbs up for @BBCCiN from all the past, and current, members of Sutemos and Suteminis. Being involved in this intercultural youth engagement programme has been really valuable for many young people who live in or around Dungannon, Northern Ireland.

One member said: “Since being a part of this group I’ve gotten many opportunities I normally would never get, I became way more confident, I made many new friends and have become more sociable. Overall, I just love dancing and I would never want to lose all of that.”
