🌿In Aṭṭār’s Mantiq al-Tayr (The Conference of the Birds), composed around 1177 CE in Nishapur, thirty birds set out across seven valleys in search of their king, the legendary Simurgh—only to discover at the journey’s end that “si murgh” (thirty birds) is the Simurgh itself. Aṭṭār, the master pharmacist of the soul, maps the precise geography of annihilation (fanā’) and subsistence (baqā’): the Valley of Seeking, the Valley of Love, the Valley of Knowledge, the Valley of Detachment, the Valley of Unity, he Valley of Bewilderment, and finally the Valley of Poverty and Annihilation. The birds arrive at the threshold of the divine court exhausted, stripped of every feather of selfhood. There, the veil lifts: the seeker and the Sought have never been two. Aṭṭār writes: “They saw the Simurgh—yet what they saw was thirty birds; They saw the thirty birds—and what they saw was the Simurgh.” 🌿

The Sufi is a man or woman who is aware of the vices of the ego (ʿilm āfāt al-nafs) and understands deeply how it is to be disciplined, and how one can improve and refine one’s character.

Al-Jazari's 13th-century robotic swordsman candle clock. The idea behind this design may have been inspired by an Arabic aphorism: "Time is like a sword, if you don't cut it, it cuts you". A reminder to seize the moment before it slips away.

The sum of the exoteric sciences is Qurānic exegesis [tafsīr], the Prophetic tradition [hadīth], and Islāmic jurisprudence [fiqh]. The sum of all these is Sufism.

The Sufis seek to “die” before death—undergoing a profound inner transformation that brings them closer to Allāh in this very life. In Sufism, the concept of “die before you die” (mutū qabla an tamūtū) refers to the death of the ego (nafs) before physical death. This inner death involves shedding the illusions of the ego, desires, and attachments to the material world. By doing so, the seeker attains gnosis (ma‘rifa) and draws nearer to Allāh. #tasawwuf #sufism

A hidden cave. A Shivling surrounded by water. And fish swimming peacefully around it…🔱 Deep within the ancient Sri Keshavanatheshwara Temple in Mudgal, Karnataka, devotees wade through flowing water to reach Mahadeva… What makes this place even more fascinating? Small fish continuously swim around the sacred Shivling, and devotees lovingly feed them grains of rice. No grand architecture. No golden walls. Just a cave, flowing water, and a divine presence that has drawn devotees for generations. Some temples are built by human hands. Others feel as if nature itself became a temple… 🚩

If cheikh gives wird or zikr , hu must acquire proper knowledge of them or else it is like having an expensive tool and not knowing how to use it It would be useless no matter if the tool is good or not for it is in the person themselves and not the tools they are given He hu seeks everything ends up with nothing He hu seeks nothing ends up with everything But the mystic hu dies more times in a day will live longer than all lifetimes combined So sometimes , he does not have a cheikh then the Shaytan / Nafs ( ego/lower self) is the cheikh And he will experience different dimensions of consciousness to come back again to one hu is one So it is important to have proper spiritual guidance for here and the hereafter Or else he can fall astray and steer away from the master

No it's not like that, we can be friends. in Arabic the word "awliya'a" did not mean friend alone, it may mean friend some times, ordinary friend is translated as "maqli", so the word in that verse means too close friend, protector, guardian, ally, helper, someone in charge, Nex of kin. This is what Islam forbid in that verse, it is similar to the Bible saying in 2 Corinthians 6:14: “Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?” Paul used it as a picture: If 2 people have opposite core beliefs/values about God, life, marriage, raising kids - pulling in different directions will cause pain. If this verse in the bible doesn't encourage you to hate me then the one in Quran would also not do so. I do not even consider you an enemy, Islam is more accepting compare to Christianity here, because the verse here was revealed early in medina, another verse was revealed to stop the teachings of this particular one you gave (below in the picture). So the first verse is no more useful, but we still recite it, but we don't understand it. We use the below one. There are many verses in Quran that are only useful in recitation but the rule behind them is abrogated. Allah changes some rules according to time. There is fierce hatred against Islam in the beginning, but when Islam got power and population on its side Allah relieved some of the strict rules, I have many Christians friends, I can marry sleep and live together with a Christian or Jewish woman, as far as we love each other. There are 2B muslims in the world now, we don't need to hate you or distance our selves from Christians to protect our religion anymore, we can be friends, you can only hurt an individual now, not hurt islam. So the rule on the verse is no more in use, it's just that you don't understand us or you're doing things deliberately. Qura'n was revealed in 23 yrs, Every verse has essence of revealation, prophet Muhammad live with Jews and Christians, he ate food from them, the Quran commands marrying Christian women, do you think it's possible to marry someone you regard as your enemy? Yesterday night I was convincing my fellow Muslims to vote Obi due to my various reasons despite the fact he is a Christian. I don't think you people would do it even if you find a better Muslim candidate. We don't hate you, you hate us
Replying to @ajeee_22132
Your prophet told you not to take us as friends in Quran 5: 51, so I don't understand this pretence.

On this [Sufi] path, the seeker’s aim must not be this world, the Hereafter, the ego [nafs], or anything else [apart from Allāh].

Shams-i Tabrīzī and Rumi were Islamic scholars of the highest order, Sufi masters, and close spiritual companions. Rumi’s Masnavi-ye-Ma'navi and Shams’ Maqālāt-i Shams-i Tabrīzī (Discourses of Shams of Tabriz) are books I keep returning to, each time discovering new pearls within them. It is also especially meaningful to me that my own son is named after Shams‑i Tabrīzī. May Allāh grant them the highest levels of Paradise.

This remote viewer just warned that the real purpose of data centers is even darker than you think. “They’re utilizing AI right now to program our subconscious.” It’s MKUltra mind control on steroids. “They’re surveilling us.” “They’re collecting data on us.” But Elizabeth April warns they’re also being used to “program our subconscious.” Just like MKUltra. “I have done extensive remote viewing unfortunately on MKUltra programming.” “They will implant essentially code words to create different sort of personalities.” “Each personality or each code word will basically trigger an individual to do certain things.” “Could be a mass shooting.” “Could be ending your own life.” “The more emotional entanglement and energetic entanglement you give AI, the more programmable you are.” “Then I had to ask … what’s the purpose of manipulating the subconscious?” “The word that came through here was separation.” “Separation from self.” “Separation from source.” @elizabethapril_

CHRISTIANS! Is it not intriguing that the more evidence we uncover regarding the Historical Christ and Earliest Christians, the more they align with Islam? Surely there’s a reason for that, seems like something to think about.
