It's always tiring how every new illustration by Toriyama-sensei always receives an extremely negative reception, even if there's nothing wrong with his art. It seems like people really don't accept anything that isn't similar to Dragon Ball during the 90s, is disappointing.

❗️Square Enix has announced a restart for the development of Dragon Quest XII during a video marking the series’ 40th anniversary. Yosuke Saito said the project had suffered a setback and that the team has reorganized development, effectively starting again from scratch. The game, originally revealed as Dragon Quest XII: The Flames of Fate, has been reintroduced with the new title Dragon Quest XII: Beyond Dreams. Yuji Horii said the story will follow a protagonist experiencing mysterious dreams, in a brighter world and exciting future. The new chapter will retain music by the late Koichi Sugiyama and character designs by Akira Toriyama.
