The zombie government just gets worse and worse Appointing someone who allowed illegal migration and small-boat crossings to be a major problem while she served as Minister for Border Security and Asylum. I’m terrified what this governments true intentions for our country are.
Welcome to the Home Office @AngelaEagle.

Excellent from @LordIanAustin on yet ANOTHER debate on the evils of Israel: As he says: ‘Over the last few years, Parliament has discussed Israel more than any other issue, not just any international issue, more than any domestic issue: more than the economy, unemployment, crime, the NHS. ‘The public out there look at Parliament and think this is utterly mad, utterly, utterly mad.’ Lord Ian blames Parliament for helping fuel antisemitism adding: ‘Does Parliament not understand that singling out the world's only Jewish state, holding its standards not applied to anywhere else, falsely accusing Israel of committing these terrible crimes? ‘This is bound to drive hostility towards people who are identified with Israel, which is the vast majority of the Jewish community, and I have to say this is why I believe Parliament is playing a large role in driving the explosion of anti-Semitism that we've seen on the streets of Britain.’

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion were introduced with good intentions. They helped advance equality for women, created more inclusive workplaces for people of all sexualities, and encouraged greater diversity across society. However, an important question is whether some aspects of EDI have now gone too far, moving beyond equal opportunity and creating situations where certain groups feel overlooked or disadvantaged.

won’t be making any statements, as there is a very personal reason for my departure, and that same reason made me feel uncomfortable remaining on the council.
Press statement I am resigning from Peterborough City Council because this is the best thing I could do for residents. A year into being a councillor, I wrote an article for Labour List stating: “I was young, passionate, and unashamedly ambitious—not for power, but for change. On polling day, I became the youngest councillor in the UK, winning by a landslide. That should have been the start of something empowering. But what followed was a sharp lesson in how politics still treats young women who step into the spotlight.” To this day, that could not feel more true. As much as I have enjoyed supporting residents and trying to help people get the support they need, I have not always been able to do this effectively because I have never truly felt comfortable within the council or within a system that I do not believe always acts with the best intentions.  Over time, I have witnessed a culture where power can too easily go unchecked, where protecting reputations can take priority over accountability, and where difficult issues are too often quietly managed rather than openly addressed. I cannot continue to be part of a system where I feel there are systemic cover-ups, a lack of transparency, and an environment that too often discourages people from speaking honestly when something is wrong.  This decision has not been easy, because I care deeply about residents and about public service. However, I believe stepping away is the most honest and responsible thing I can do.

A disgusting hate crime.
🚨 Threats To Behead Jews 🎥 @Shomrim are aware of the horrific video circulating on social media showing a gentleman threatening to behead Jews and much more. This was taken outside 82 Whitechapel Road, Tower Hamlets, London, E1 1JQ. 👮‍♂️ This has been reported to @MetPoliceUK @MetCC who are taking it very seriously and have started an investigation to identify and arrest the male and mitigate the immediate threats. ⚠️ We are aware of the fact that the Orthodox Jewish community is exceptionally concerned about these threats and want to reassure the community that we are working closely with @MPSTowerHam @MPSHackney and will be stepping up patrols till he is caught. 📞 Anyone with information is asked to contact @MetCC quoting CAD 4911/15MAY26.

Keir Starmer, I thought the fact you’re finished as PM would make you finally do the right thing, I guess not. When nationalist/right-wing protests happen, you immediately talk about “hate,” “extremism,” and threats to the nation. Yet when pro-Palestine marches saw accusations of antisemitic chants, intimidation near synagogues, and praise for militant groups, your response was slower, softer, and far more qualified. That’s why people see double standards and that is why people are angry.

First, her claim is misleading. Secondly and importantly, if people are concerned about violence or attacks affecting specific communities (including white British citizens), then the focus should stay on actual singular issue to British people: immigration and integration challenges Blaming “the Jews” derails that conversation completely. It replaces real-world analysis with conspiracy thinking, which means the underlying problems never get addressed.
The state moved at lightening speed to protect the Jewish community. Meanwhile, the massacre of native Brits is treated as a mere inconvenience. No million pound protections or national emergencies declared for us. The establishment hate our guts.

Daniel Peretz on the situation in the Middle East: "Many in the team are really far removed from this issue. But they're very curious. I explain the situation to them, what happens when sirens sound, how things work in war. These are realities they don't know." #saintsfc @BILD
