On May 1, Dalton Associates welcomed staff, partners, and Associates to our annual Quality Assurance Symposium at the Royal Botanical Gardens for a day focused on learning, connection, and professional growth.
Our keynote speaker, Alyson Schafer, presented The Healing Power of Belonging and Connection, exploring how meaningful relationships and a sense of belonging play a critical role in resilience, healing, and mental wellbeing.
Additional presentations throughout the day explored the future of mental health care, the importance of comprehensive sexuality education across the lifespan, and practical strategies for recognizing and responding to vicarious trauma in clinical practice. Attendees heard from Dr. Yelena Chorny, Jessica Cauchi, and Dr. Siobhan Bell, who each shared valuable insights drawn from their clinical, academic, and leadership experience.
The symposium also featured presentations and updates from Dalton Associates leadership and staff, highlighting ongoing growth, innovation, and initiatives across our programs and services.
Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making the day such a success. We look forward to welcoming everyone together again at a future Quality Assurance Symposium.
