Bill C-28, “The Space Launch Act” has national security gaps, opaque centralization that distorts market activity and leaves taxpayers on the hook for the well connected. Conservatives know that success in space requires ambition be matched by discipline: thehub.ca/2026/05/26/heres-h…

This is what the Liberals have done to our "justice" system. "A B.C. man who served time in prison for randomly stabbing a tourist in downtown Vancouver four years ago has now been charged with manslaughter in the stabbing of another man last year." globalnews.ca/news/11902675/…

So @MarkJCarney is it the "new world order" with Europe or "Fortress North America"? Pick a lane. Or is it just tell your audience what they want to hear and hope no one at home takes notice of your contradictions.
Carney: The new world order will be built from Europe. Canada is the most European of non-European countries, and we are transforming our cooperation with the EU ... In a more dangerous and divided world, Canada has chosen to build and work in partnership with Europe.

Prime Minister Carney is arriving at the G7 as the only leader whose country is in recession. In his speech today, he spoke about a “New World Order” again, while Canadians have empty fridges, empty gas tanks, and empty bank accounts paying for his inflationary taxes and spending. They don't need empty words. He should stop taking credit for things done over a decade ago. We have had free trade with France since Prime Minister Harper got a deal with all of Europe. Today’s phoney, unenforceable “Joint Statement” is another illusion filled with meaningless garble. No more theatre. Canadians need affordability, jobs and safety, and an end to the Liberal government here at home.

He literally gave an entire speech about the need for a band of middle powers. "The middle powers must act together, because if we're not at the table, we're on the menu."
Carney: If you look at the speech, I've never advocated that all of a sudden there was going to be a band of middle powers, you know, the M20 or something like that.

A flat out lie. In his Davos speech Carney said: ""The middle powers must act together, because if we're not at the table, we're on the menu." But Carney doesn't remember because he didn't write his Davos speech. He just read it off a teleprompter.
Carney: If you look at the speech, I've never advocated that all of a sudden there was going to be a band of middle powers, you know, the M20 or something like that.

Exactly. Why do Liberals always try to deny what they said?
Headline quote from the Davos speech: "The middle powers must act together, because if we're not at the table, we're on the menu." Perhaps the "rupture" is Canada's position on the US when Trump is in the room versus when he is not. #cdnpoli

As one of my friends (who permanently relocated to the United States) likes to often say: “Canada’s most valuable export isn’t oil, natural gas, timber, critical earth mineral, or energy. It’s human capital. And we give it away for free”.
In Canada, we celebrate the overpaid bureaucrat who makes six figures to do next to nothing while demonizing the entrepreneurs and business people who generate the dollars required to pay that bureaucrats salary. So many of our problems stem from this mentality.

The CBC should have @RobBreakenridge on more. See his column here on Poilievre's speech. nationalpost.com/opinion/rob…
As @nspector pointed out earlier today, this segment did the national broadcaster a disservice. Three voices — ideologically and geographically aligned, all writing for Toronto-based publications — delivered virtually identical negative reviews of @PierrePoilievre's speech. Yet it resonated with Alberta's persuadable voters, its intended audience. Given what is at stake, surely that effectiveness is what should matter to the @cbc. But this panel seemed incapable of recognizing it because Alberta is as foreign to them as Mississippi. In some ways, it highlights one of this country's enduring challenges: we claim to celebrate our regional diversity while, in practice, fostering a narrow centralization — and hegemony — of opinion.

Andrew Coyne on Pierre Poilievre's national unity speech: It was needlessly narrow, somewhat self-serving, and not terribly helpful.

An update on this Rogers customer. His calls go to a Rogers call center in Morocco (yes Morocco) where they promise him things that they in turn do not deliver on. This is not what the Liberals promised when they approved the Rogers takeover. Where is the Minister now?
Just heard from another Kelowna resident who was a former customer of Shaw taken over by Rogers. When his promotional contract ended Rogers hit him with a stealth 49% increase in his monthly fees. No notice, no emails, no phone calls. Just a bigger bill. He calls it criminal.

He is absolutely not as presented. We learn more and more about who the real Mark Carney is by the day.
"Carney presented himself as uniquely qualified to deal with Trump. Over a year into Trump-whispering, we continue to face punishing sectoral tariffs, little progress in trade talks, and almost no public clarity about Canada’s strategy with the U.S." financialpost.com/opinion/ba…

According to Canada’s Food Price Report 2026, a family of four is projected to spend $17,572 on food this year. The Prime Minister’s Office might want to include a few people who can actually do food math before making affordability announcements.
DETACHED FROM REALITY Mark Carney just claimed the average FAMILY spends $800 per month on groceries or $10,000 per year. Has he gone to the grocery store? 4 steaks 🥩 is $100 only one meal If you ate BEEF 20 days a month x $100 that’s $2,000 without veggies, fruit or carbs
