There are a lot of podcasts on the subject of Christian faith deconstruction. And honestly, I've tried listening to most of them. But the one I keep coming back to, over and over again, is You Have Permission by @DanKoch New to deconstruction? Here's why you should listen: Reason #1: Dan's a licensed therapist You Have Permission episodes feature many psychological elements that explain why people's faith shifts over their lifetimes. During the last several seasons, Dan has been working towards his Ph.D. and is now a licensed therapist who published a Spiritual Harm & Abuse Scale in 2022. The psychological lens he brings to the show is invaluable to understanding your journey. Reason #2: Intelligent guests The guests on the show range from academic scholars of the history of religion to theologians, psychologists, and everyone in between.
