Mission accomplished! Earlier this school year, I was inspired by another post to curate and organize 180 math tasks on Google Slides. I just finished task #180. Recent additions come from Math is Fun, @BurdessAlicia and @traciteacher. #iteachmath bit.ly/180daysmath 1/n

Day 2 of my 7th grade students enjoying the @intelino trains. Today they built an epic multi-level track. Then they added various coding commands using the included color chips. #stem #iteachmath

A student of mine created a really cool remix of this project - one of the coolest things I have seen done on @scratch Try it here - play with the numbers in the move and turn blocks to get some interesting results: scratch.mit.edu/projects/119…
#TodayInCS summer school class we did a "screensaver-y" project using cloned circle sprites. Try it here: scratch.mit.edu/projects/119…

On Sunday, I will run the San Diego Rock 'n' Roll Marathon, while my adult children will run the half marathon. We are raising money for the Alzheimer’s Association in honor of my father and my mother-in-law, who died last year after a 3-year battle with dementia.

I ran my first marathon at the age of 43 to honor the memory of my recently deceased grandmother. Four years later, I ran my last marathon – the 2011 LA Marathon. After that, I injured my Achilles tendon. That derailed my exercise routine, and I was never able to get going again.

A year ago, my father was diagnosed with dementia, and that motivated me to start taking better care of myself. I got back into running and strength training. Thanks to my amazing nutritionist Kaela from @nourish, I have lost 30 pounds in the last year.

Thank you @RSRPD_rec for our Simi Arroyo Greenway. I was able to do most of a 20-mile training run today utilizing the entire path from Stargaze Place to Yosemite Ave and back. Looking forward to the San Diego @RunRocknRoll marathon in 3 weeks.

Hey @claudioPsanchez I was just listening to the @PetrosAndMoney show on @AM570LASports and the @Theoldp just gave the @Coheed and Cambria award to @To_Barrett of @MizzouHoops because he said he looks just like you (it's all in the hair).

I am working on a game in @scratch called TENtris. It has Tetris-style gameplay, with the goal of making totals of 10 with falling digits. This is far from fully formed and I would love it if you try it with your students and provide feedback (TIA): scratch.mit.edu/projects/113…
