The confidence he instills with his players and coaches is like no other. I’m forever grateful! To one of the best to ever do it 🫡
Words are tough to use to describe the impact you've had on our organization, baseball team, culture, and city. Your impact in the game of baseball goes beyond what we can even begin to extend our gratitude for. Thank you, Tito. ❤️ #ForTheLand

And the Notre Dame fan said, “Lord, during most of the game I noticed 22 footprints in the grass, but during the most difficult times I noticed only 20, were you carrying us then?” And the Lord sayeth, “Lol, no buddy your coach sent ten dudes out.”

Need this to populate to every facility or anyone coaching baseball because this is the truth 🙏🏻
I need to make something clear to hitters everywhere. Nobody cares about your exit velocity and bat speed if you can’t get it done when the lights are on. Don’t get it twisted, helping a team win baseball games will forever and always be the thing that KEEPS YOU in the lineup. Going to a showcase, or event and setting a PR, or even having a "pretty swing" might get you noticed the first time somebody sees you. That is checking the box of the prerequisites. It's not answering the question of whether you can play or not. You wanna have a pretty swing? Take reps in the cage and video tape yourself until you have a swing that is both pretty, and functional (i.e. creates line drives over and over again). You wanna have a better exit velocity and bat speed? Lift weights/move things fast in the gym so that you don't look like a fungo anymore. But make sure you don't compromise your ability to hit line drives all over the field. The metrics you create are just for the piece of paper that opens the door for you. How pretty your swing is, might get you noticed by someone that resonates with your style. And to be fair, there are more "opinions" out there about what a good swing looks like, then there are about how to run the country. And we all know what opinions are like... You wanna PLAY at the best school you possibly can? Learn to dominate the game. Learn to be so in control of your at bats, that people can't help but notice every time you play, whether you get a hit or not. This is the funny part, everyone thinks the reason they're not getting recruited by the school that they want to go to, is because they aren't going to the "right" tournaments or showcases. Everyone says they want to play in Division I, but they're not honest with themselves about who they are and what they are capable of being in the future. And oh by the way, once you get there, you better keep coming with it, and adjust to the level of competition quickly, because the landscape isn't all roses and sunshine on the other side of the "commitment." It's just getting started. You have to learn how to hit. If you hit, you'll play. And to learn to hit, you better know how to slow the game down. You better understand leverage counts, timing, mindset, approach, etc. None of that stuff has the same cache as saying "I hit a ball 100 today," but it's the stuff that keeps you on the field, because it'll show up in the boxscore every day. That's why we convert video from @3motionAI and data from @DiamondKinetics to build training plans. That's why we use @hittingapproach to build game plans for individual hitters and adjust their in-season BP plans. If anything I wrote above resonates with you, we need to talk. To all the HS players out there posting your stats after every weekend, I get it. We as the adults have failed you. We have lead you to believe that this is the path to “success”. To get recruited, drafted, and/or receive love from your friends and family. Let your game speak for itself. At the end of the day, no one is going to remember your stats. If you are good, they will find you. Continue to focus on all of the hard work you put in this off season, and refining YOUR routine that makes you the best version of yourself. I’m proud of all you kids out there working your tail off and chasing your dreams. Just be aware of where you look for that love.. it comes with a price. It should come from deep inside of you, knowing that success was earned long before last weekend! Process > Results
