I have read Dan McNeil’s book “I Bear Witness” and it is as good as advertised — just what you’d expect from Danny Mac. If I had a radio show, I’d have Mac on it. (Full disclosure: I received a complimentary copy of the book, but I would like it even if I paid for it — honest!)

Probably the most damning information to come from this news story on Seth's upcoming book is what Caleb Williams detailed going on inside Halas Hall that stunted his first-year growth. "At times, Williams said he would watch film alone, with no instruction or guidance from the coaches. 'No one tells me what to watch,' Caleb Williams told his dad. 'I just turn it on.'"

A couple of cool tickets from my childhood… First row in right field for Michael Jordan’s only baseball game in a big league stadium. He played right at Wrigley. Bulls at Bucks when they won their 70th game, the most of all time at the time.

Rory Spears was as gentle, laid-back & easy-going as a peaceful round of golf on a sunny day. Like we all wish, happy he got to turn his passion into a living, & what it's like to play the great courses in this country. Local golf, family, friends & colleagues will miss him. RIP.
