Labour ministers are pointing fingers at each other over funding when they could just take up our plan to issue Defence Bonds which would inject a desperately-needed £20bn and ease financial pressures on defence immediately.
Replying to @AlistairCarns
@AlistairCarns tells @cathynewman that the defence investment plan funding settlement “is not enough” (yet - despite collective responsibility - seems to be still in his job)

We're all far more likely to be treated by immigrants working for our NHS than we are to be waiting in queue behind them. In our local hospital, staff come from 104 different countries and a third of the social care workforce in Hampshire come from outside of the EU or UK.

Financial abuse is a form of domestic abuse. A parent that refuses to attend court leaves the other parent stuck in this loop of abuse, with no means of escaping. I raised this with the Solicitor General, asking why parents who fail to show up to court evade prosecution.

These include the chemicals fipronil and imidacloprid which are banned from agricultural use to protect bees. Millions of pets are blanket treated for fleas the ticks every month whether they need it or not.

It would ringfence agriculture funding, protect support payments and move to a 3-year funding deal to give farmers the certainty they need. The government should also support a bespoke UK-EU customs union, making it easier for businesses to export to their main markets in the EU

Great advice from @DannyVet! Heatstroke can be fatal for dogs, so walk them early morning or late evening in this weather. Find out how to spot the early signs of heatstroke and what to do in an emergency: bva.co.uk/news-and-blog/news… #DogsDieOnHotWalks #heatwave
No dog died from missing a walk, but many dogs have died as a result of being exercised in hot weather! I've treated many dogs with heat stroke and it is often fatal.

If a dog is collapsed from heatstroke you should: ✅Cool them down by pouring cold water on them, putting them in a cold shower or bath, or a hosepipe ✅ Offer them a small drink of cool water ✅ Travel to the vets in a cold, air-conditioned car
