This was cutting edge funk/R&B in '84. Larry Blackmon was tapped into the "cool" Black scenes. Straight up drum machines. The groove is eerie. THERE IS RAPPING. Cameo was one of the few funk bands to survive the Prince onslaught. If you only know them from "Word Up" fix that.
