Liverpool FC can confirm Arne Slot is to depart his role as head coach with immediate effect and that the process to appoint a successor is under way. He leaves with a Premier League title to his name and our deepest gratitude and appreciation.

OTD in 1980…Champions of Europe. Again. A strike from the Picasso of our game, John Robertson, was enough for #NFFC in the Bernabéu to reign as kings of the continent once more ❤️

Four years since the iconic play-off semi-final win against Sheffield United. The club has come so far in such a period of a time, but a special mention to @samba_brice. Gone from a Championship ‘keeper to being named in France’s World Cup squad. 🇫🇷🇫🇷

Love that in Nottingham, fans will support both Forest and Notts County ⚽️
I've been a Forest fan since age 15 and never paid much interest to Notts County The few times I've been to Meadow Lane I've loved it and on Friday I'll be one of 17,000 there for the play-off semi English footy at its absolute finest and it's in my home city 🔥 ⚽️ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

We believe no fan should have to carry their struggles in silence. Being part of the Forest family means looking out for one another beyond the 90 minutes. This weekend, as we support the Premier League’s #InsideMatters campaign, we want to remind you that our Tricky to Talk mental health hubs are here for you. Whether it’s through our monthly face-to-face sessions or by signposting to support networks, we provide a safe, informal space to talk, listen, and connect. It doesn't have to be tricky to talk. ❤️🌳 #NFFC

Recent but brilliant: Andy Reid scores a solo goal for Forest at West Ham in 2003.

French T.V. regularly favour the French teams in what they decide to show and not show.
The boys are right in comms, the lack of replays at times is farcical! #borvbath

As it’s the last day of the Championship season let’s look back to where #NFFC were on the last day five seasons ago. 8th May 2021 Nottingham Forest 1 - 2 Preston North End An empty City Ground due to Covid, and Chris Hughton in charge of a team finishing 17th. Five years later and we have England internationals creating magic for us in a European semi final. We’ve come a long way… x.com/EuropaLeague/status/20…

A minimum wage of £15 would end my coffee shop, it would have to close, as would many other businesses. I’ll explain for the economically illiterate. Staff costs are currently half our costs, a £15 minimum wage is actually more than £15 an hour for the company, because you have to add: - 12.07% holiday - Sick pay - Maternity pay if and when required - National insurance - Pension contributions These costs would mean the shop loses money because remember, energy costs are up, rates are up, regulations are up. Now you can pass these costs onto the consumer - that would mean charging a lot more for coffee, people won’t pay it. The likes of Starbucks and Costa can, because they have economies of scale. The independent doesn’t. Now the little socialist will say well this is your fault, if you can’t run a business that can afford to pay its staff properly, but the little socialist has never run a business and does not understand the dynamics. Now I could pay some staff off and fill those hours myself or reduce us to one staff member during certain periods - but this proves the point that a minimum wage costs jobs. There was a time when these jobs were done by kids, perhaps on the weekend, paid a lower wage, no holiday and no silly employment rights. Perhaps they were even paid cash. The dynamic worked and small businesses like this could operate. It was also a great first job. Sadly now it isn’t worth employing entitlement youngsters at this level of pay. So alas, I don’t need the stress, the business would close, a number of jobs would be lost. Economics is about understanding these dynamics, no vibes. The cost of living is not solved through passing on inflation to the business, it is solved by ending high inflation and creating prosperity. This is what socialists don’t understand, they can’t create prosperity, they can only destroy it.
The Greens will raise the minimum wage to £15 for all workers 💪

Delighted to announce that 6 new gardaí have been assigned to Swords Garda Station, a much-needed boost for the area. I’ve been advocating for increased resources for some time, with the Minister for Justice and the Garda Commissioner. This will make a real difference locally.
