En effet, le X-FIRE sera le véhicule de lancement du futur missile balistique courte portée B-STRIKE 1000 qui intéresserait plusieurs alliés européens. Or, la Norvège et la Pologne ont toutes les deux signé pour des lances-roquettes sud-coréens CHUNMOO produits par Hanwha Aerospace. Cela signifie qu'en achetant le X-FIRE / B-STRIKE 1000, ces pays augmenteraient leur nombre de lanceurs et gagneraient en versatilité et résilience. C'était d'ailleurs l'un des points forts de l'offre d'Arianegroup et de Thales avec la série B-STRIKE 150/1000/2500 qui partagent de nombreux éléments communs. A défaut d'avoir gagné le contrat FLPT sur le marché national, l'accord avec l'industriel sud-coréen donne donc un avantage intéressant au consortium Arianegroup / Thales / Soframe sur le marché export, la Pologne et la Norvège étant des marchés très importants pour les feux dans la profondeur. Mais cela reste à concrétiser.
