Hockey has always been a huge part of my life, from 6 a.m. practices as a Mite to late-night beer league games, one of the things I’ve always dreamed of leading was the design of a professional team’s logo.
I met Glen Foll, the GM of the Adelaide Adrenaline in the Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL), at a tournament in Bangkok back in 2014, and we kept in touch. He messaged last year saying the team was looking for a new logo, an identity their fans could rally behind. Something fierce enough to fire up the crowd and bold enough to feel right at home in the wild heart of the Outback.
So we brought this new legend to life. Meet the Yeti — an abominable snowman with a hockey stick, teeth bared and attitude to spare. Ferocious yet fun, the Yeti became the true face of the Adrenaline this year, a character that the players embody and fans adore.
Big thanks to the Adelaide Adrenaline for trusting us to build this beast. 🏒💥
