It’s official: I’m running to be Vermont’s next Lieutenant Governor. I want to return to this office to continue to build on the work we have done to create a more welcoming and safe Vermont, where no family has to struggle to have their basic needs met.

We have both an altruistic moral obligation and a selfish financial obligation to continue to house these individuals. The short term $ savings will cost us more in the long run as medical costs, mental health services, business impacts and more happen over time. #unconscionable

Deeply saddened to hear the opioid deaths in Vermont have gone up again. We must make MAT more accessible, it works! And we must create harm reduction sites to reduce such unnecessary loss. Glad the legislature is moving forward with some important steps.

Deeply saddened and concerned about the possible shooting in Morrisville. I have seen four police vehicles on I89 and VT100 as I went to and from an event in Waterbury tonight. For now just rumors, but I hope people are safe and our law enforcement is safe.

Short sighted decisions can come back to haunt. In this case, it is about reproductive liberty being protected in Wyoming due to a political stunt, years ago, against Obamacare. But it is also a good lesson to make decisions/statements with deliberation and to think long term.

While headed to Lake Champlain Chamber breakfast this morning I saw black smoke and then this fire. Spear and Swift Sts. Looks like new construction, so likely/hopefully no one is injured. Thank you first responders for rushing in.

My daughter got her license today! She is excited. We are excited. We are also nervous. Freedom for her! Freedom for us! Only kid...big moments in life. February first and she remembered to say "Rabbit Rabbit" All is good.
