Replying to @Coach_Fleck
@Coach_Fleck's RTB is a life program. Selected participants who commit fully will emerge elite. It’s not for the selfish, seeking ease, but for those ready to sacrifice, lead, and grow. Discipline brings joy. Self-seeking, despair. This is one of life's great paradoxes.

Every middle school team puts their best athlete at QB and they often stick there through high school. Gophers loading up on QBs is really just raising their top end athleticism and leadership.
The Gophers landed a summer QB commitment heading into their junior years for both the 2026 (Owen Lansu) and 2027 (Furian Inferrera) cycles. They've now offered 12 QBs in the 2028 cycle. I'm curious to see if that trend continues this summer.

Wolves fans, who do we think should deliver "further discipline?" League can't suspend them while staying equitable. Maybe Jaden if we're down in the 4th?
There will be no further discipline for Spurs star Victor Wembanyama after he was ejected for elbowing Naz Reid in Minnesota on Sunday night, sources tell ESPN. No suspension, no fine. Wembanyama will play in Game 5 against the Timberwolves on Tuesday night in San Antonio.

The Ant effect...
“He gonna have to block it every time, I ain’t gonna stop going downhill. I told him that when he said a little something… He gonna have to block it every time, man. I know he ain’t gonna block it every single time. I’m gonna dunk on him” - TJ Shannon on Victor Wembanyama

Next stop, Top 10 🔥 RTB @Drakelindsey5
Having @Nate_Tice on the show today was awesome. He had Minnesota QB Drake Lindsay on his top-25 NFL Draft big board. You read that right.

So you're telling me that there is a 20 year old, 6'5 quarterback at a Big Ten school with a cannon for an arm... and he likes beer? QB1. No questions at this time.
Jail records show that Drake Lindsey was booked into custody around 1 a.m. and released around 8:30 a.m. More: si.com/college/minnesota/gop…

Tiger had that killer instinct Jordan had. In fact they still have it but we call it aura. In their primes, competitors "knew" - felt deeply internally - that they were playing for 2nd place.
Steve Kerr compares LeBron James and Michael Jordan. Kerr on LeBron: “More of a holistic game where he dominates with his space and his athleticism and his passing. I think he’s literally the greatest athlete on the face of the planet and in human history.” Kerr on MJ: “The killer instinct, the emotional dominance he had over not only the other team but the officials, the entire arena. I don’t see that with LeBron. Everybody came into a series against Michael knowing they were going to lose.” (via @NewYorker)

Protect the Boundary Waters!
•The U.S. Senate may hold a floor vote TODAY which would overturn a 20-year moratorium on sulfide-ore copper mining on 225,000 acres of Superior National Forest land in the watershed of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area (BWCA) Wilderness in northern Minnesota. The Boundary Waters is the most visited Wilderness in the United States.  🛶 Enjoying the Minnesotan/Canadian wilderness by canoe or other lesser watercraft is one of our nations greatest available pastimes, and one I have personally enjoyed my entire life. We must protect these public lands from the rapacious capitalists threatening to turn them into a poisoned wasteland. •This vote in Congress would open the door to copper mining at the headwaters of this entire ecosystem. This kind of mining produces toxic pollution, including acid runoff and heavy metals, that can contaminate nearby waters. •The Boundary Waters supports a major outdoor economy that sustains thousands of jobs and generates over a billion dollars a year - built on clean water and intact public lands. But this vote would clear the way for toxic mining that puts all of that at risk. It would also set a dangerous precedent, making it easier to roll back protections for public lands across the country, including wilderness areas, national monuments, and national parks.  •This is a defining moment. If you care about clean water, public lands, and protecting places we can’t replace, now is the time to speak up. •Protect the Boundary Waters, and vote NO on House Joint Resolution 140. Let’s save this treasured place for all of us—forever. on.nrdc.org/4csRkwi

The old EFF defended hackers, file sharers and speech many would find distasteful. The new EFF picks which civil liberties position to fight based on who the victim is politically. A story: I first donated to EFF when I was a 15 year old aspiring script kiddie after they helped earn online speech 1st Amendment rights through Reno v ACLU at the Supreme Court. I became involved with them during MGM v Grokster where EFF defended Grokster all the way to the Supreme Court. It was a big case and I was deep into peer to peer sharing. We lost but nearly took down a giant. Since then, I donated every year until soon after Cindy Cohn took over in 2015. They immediately steered hard left and away from their tech libertarian roots. I'm so sad they lost their way. John Perry Barlow would be so disappointed.

After almost twenty years on the platform, EFF is logging off of X. This isn’t a decision we made lightly, but it might be overdue. 🧵(1/5)
