"The Scottish Government has a broken relationship with rural Scotland. The Lib Dem results in the Highlands are a reflection that this government doesn’t get rural Scotland and hasn’t been present." @DavidGreen4CSR

Many highland schools are struggling to recruit permanent staff, yet at the same time the conditions that PSAs face are terrible. If we want people to make their lives in the highlands, then there need to be permanent contracts and affordable housing for key workers.

My constituent has had his ESTA revoked without explanation ahead of the US FIFA World Cup. He has a clean record, adequate security clearance and a history of lawful US travel. I’ve written to the Scotland Office requesting urgent help resolving this case as soon as possible.

@DavidGreen4CSR and I have written to the Foreign Secretary seeking urgent reassurance that the UK Government is doing all it can to ensure those intercepted on the Gaza Flotilla return home safely. The safety and wellbeing of our constituents will always be our first priority.

Tomorrow, people across Scotland will go to the polls to elect a new Government for Holyrood. While in Kinbrace, I was reminded how important it is for those in the most rural areas to have their voices heard. Don't forget to vote! I know @DavidGreen4CSR has mine.

Seats across Scotland, and especially in the Highlands are swinging away from the SNP and to the Lib Dems. But no matter where you live, you can elect a Liberal Democrat MSP on the peach-coloured regional ballot.

Don’t take my word for it, newspaper commentators judged that Alex had a good debate on @STVNews . He spoke about his plan for health and social care, the ferries and the need for change.
This spring saw the SNP's ferries fiasco plumb new depths with almost every island affected by disruption. At one point 8 CalMac vessels were out of service. Island and coastal communities like Argyll and Bute have been utterly shafted by this SNP government. #stvdebate

There is no better example of failure under this SNP Government than the state of the ferries network. If you live in an area like Argyll and Bute right now, you've just seen the Easter holiday season ruined with ferries disruption impacting almost every Scottish island.

Restoring Caithness maternity services and upgrading the A9 are key priorities for Scottish Liberal Democrats. The SNP have neglected the far north but the Scottish Liberal Democrats will always stand up for the far north and the rest of the Highlands.

For years, the Scottish Government have failed and neglected women in the Far North. I’m proud the Lib Dems have pledged to restore consultant-led maternity services in Caithness. Only a vote for @DavidGreen4CSR and the Scottish Liberal Democrats will deliver for the Highlands.

The SNP have hired less than 1 in 10 of the GPs they promised in 2017. We would hire more specialist staff to work alongside GPs and manage patient need, and enable pharmacists to do more prescribing, to help get everyone the first-rate healthcare they need when they need it.

I've known @DavidGreen4CSR for many years now. He's a grafter - hard working and a true liberal. Across the Highlands, a vote for the @scotlibdems is the strongest way to send the SNP Government a clear message.

Our plan for a 10p cut to fuel duty and measures to support EV drivers would help get Scotland moving again. We would pair that with investment in renewables to make Scotland more resilient in the long term and secure jobs and energy supplies into the future.

Last night on #bbcdn, @agcolehamilton didn’t just put the SNP’s John Swinney under pressure over ferries and delayed discharge - he set out a clear vision for change. It seats right across the Highlands, only the @scotlibdems can beat the SNP.
Scotland has so much going for it, but right now under the SNP, it feels like our country simply isn’t working. Scotland needs change with fairness at its heart. On 7 May you can vote for it by backing the Scottish Liberal Democrats on the peach-coloured regional ballot.

Ferries launched with painted on windows. Mass disruption with ferries out of action over Easter. An inadequate compensation scheme. Communities that rely on ferries, like Argyll and Bute, have been failed by the SNP. #bbcdn
