I have Parkinsons. On the
4.15 London to Cardiff train. My meds failed. Could barely move. A medical student training at Oxford helped me exit the train and called station staff to ensure my safety.I am so grateful to her.Pls retweet in hope she sees it
Parkinsons Disease is cruel. A huge burden falls on loved ones who provide care & support, Sadly it doesn't end there .It can create a changed personality affecting loving relationships. Though aware, Parkies seem powerless to change. Please support Cure Parkinsons Trust
l have just read another letter from the Pensions Minister
which was the self same pathetic longevity excuse he always gives, even in parliament, which suggests that all of those that support the frozen pension theft are also out of touch with the reality of this pension fraud.
An excellent and informative research update by Cure Parkinsons Trust yesterday. Congrats to presenters for bringing complex science within reach of lay audience. The quest goes on, Please support
We are at the 50 Forum Event till 3.30pm today where we're sharing information about our services with a range of activities taking place encouraging active & healthy lifestyles over 50. Have a watch...
If at first you don’t succeed there are certain things it’s best not to try again - sky diving is one, and kicking possession away against Fiji is another.
I learned many things during my years in the RA; most of them have served me well in life. One of my favourites was an aphorism : "Bulls... baffles brains" Boris Johnson's speech to the Conservative party conference today was a perfect example
Four images of the Red Arrows over the Golden Gate Bridge by RAF photographers. We had cameras positioned around San Francisco Bay & airborne. Top row, left-to-right: Images by SAC Hannah Smoker & Sgt Ashley Keates. Bottom row: Cpl Adam Fletcher & SAC Rose Buchanan #RedArrowsTour
Never seen this before. A card designed to hold dollar bills by the bedside with a signed request to leave a tip. I never like tipping cultures, need a realistic minimum wage but in the US the shuttle driver from the airport and the bar waitress last night depend on them
Absolutely, WE know the constraints that PD brings not the casual bystander. I can skip INTO Tesco and stagger OUT. A blue badge is not a perk, it helps you to be a functioning member of society
All the perks 😀
You start feeling like a fraud especially on your ‘on’ time but when you can’t get out (or back in) to the vehicle or your legs give up on you, it finally dawns that you need the badge! That’s my #Parkinsons thoughts for you today!
Not again: “Boris heads for Ireland” says a BBC London presenter on the radio. When will the Beeb start calling him Johnson or are Corbyn, Swinson, Farage, Sturgeon & Lucas to be Jeremy, Jo, Nigel, Nicola & Caroline in the interests of impartiality and consistency?

Just listening to the incomparable Lisa Fisher singing Dambala. The words "slave to your mind" struck me like a thunderbolt. PD has made me a slave of my brain but not of my mind
It is amazing. No Labour programme dismissed as “Marxist” by our toxic partisan press could come close to the damage about to be caused by Johnson’s No Deal both at home and abroad. The difference in treatment is scandalous. The country is about to learn how much it matters.
PARKINSON'S : John. veteran U. S.Navy pilot who I met with his lady wife at WPC Kyoto. If you chance on this tweet please respond. Your contact details were mislaid on journey home.
