I recently had the opportunity to hear Bhattacharya in person during his visit to Purdue University. I expected to endure scientific ignorance, right-wing pandering and claims of victimisation, and I was not disappointed. timeshighereducation.com/opi…

Still waiting for some actual evidence for the statement from @weldeiry, which prompted credulous @SenRonJohnson twice to make an unfounded declaration on COVID vaccine mRNA persistence, "Covid vaccine mRNA has been reported to persist for up to 706 days."

It is @weldeiry who is responsible for the falsehood spoken by @SenRonJohnson who claimed that the COVID vaccine mRNA persisted in bodies for up to 2 years. There is no evidence for that assertion, which is stated in presentation below without a reference cdc.gov/acip/downloads/slide…

According to this article, #Indiana is considering sharing individual identifiable patient medical records, "in a quest to research a link between vaccines and autism." I will do everything I can to protect the privacy of Indiana patient medical records. kffhealthnews.org/mental-hea…

In podcast Jay Bhattacharya on Faith,Science&Public Health stated,“Smallpox is eradicated IN PART because we have had a great vaccine for it." What does he mean "in part?"Is he denying that smallpox was eradicated solely b/c of vaccination?More pandering. timeshighereducation.com/opi…

On primary election day,I spent quite a bit of it speaking c/ Spencer Deery, because we were standing outside the same polling stations in #WestLafayette, both candidates for Indiana Senate District 23. We really had an interesting & respectful conversation. BiLafayette photo.

I've been greeting voters at the polls all day (6-6 with a break). Note the raindrops on the lens. From the only candidate in the #Indiana State Senate District 23 election who is not attacking an opponent with appalling advertisements filled with falsehoods.

There has been a flood (millions of $) of dark money favoring both Republican candidates in the primary election for Indiana State Senate District 23. It funds vicious negative advertisements filled with false accusations. Don't reward candidates who are beholden to dark money.

Bhattacharya revealed what he modestly refers to as “the second scientific revolution”. What is this momentous event, the equivalent of the advances of Vesalius & Copernicus? It’s a button on articles to say when they have been replicated. @PurdueBiolSci timeshighereducation.com/opi…

"Dirty campaigning can promote distrust in all politicians and alienate voters." I will represent my constituents not PACs, unlike the Republican candidates, for whom they have poured millions of dollars into attack ads. Democratic candidate Indiana State Senate District 23
Opinion: Indiana Republican Senate primaries have turned so vicious and dishonest that they risk costing Republicans seats and scaring good people out of politics. courierpress.com/story/opini…
