Hey Governor @JBPritzker, With all due respect, what in the world are you even talking about? The Chicago Bears — you know, the ones actually in Illinois? — seem to be the latest on your 'Get Out of Our State' list. First you chase out major businesses, then small businesses, entrepreneurs, and hardworking families... now you're apparently trying to fumble the Bears across the border too? You raise taxes on Illinoisans every single year like it's an Olympic sport: property taxes, sales taxes, tollway taxes, transportation taxes, social media taxes, gas taxes — if the word 'tax' is in it, you've hiked it. You'd probably tax breathing if you could meter it. So please spare us the gaslighting, Governor. Illinois isn't bleeding people and jobs because we're 'lucky' to have your leadership — we're bleeding because of it. One party rule is hurting our state everyday and you, Springfield and @ChicagosMayor need to Stop treating taxpayers like an ATM and start treating us like residents who deserve better.

That’s why I support @SenTedCruz Protect College Sports Act. The spiraling NIL system is poisoning college sports—turning teams into bidding wars, eroding rivalries, and stripping away the education at the heart of it all. We must restore balance, fairness, and the true student-athlete experience. 🇺🇸

Grateful to the brave men and women of the @FBI for foiling a terror plot and keeping us safe! It’s okay to disagree on politics, but hate and violence have no place in America. Time to put the UNITED back in the United States.

These severe weather events caused significant damage in many of our communities. Thank you to our brave first responders who acted swiftly — digging through rubble, responding to gas leaks, and helping neighbors in the midst of chaos. Your courage saves lives. In Congress, I will work to ensure the National Weather Service is fully funded and our warning systems stay cutting-edge. Early alerts are critical — they give families time to seek shelter, keep our communities safe, and allow first responders to know exactly what’s coming every step of the way. Illinois also needs the modern emergency equipment and resources to prepare for and recover from these increasing threats. We will not leave our families or communities vulnerable.
