The #padmacs_adm study clearly evidenced the significant negative impact that multiple transfers can have on the well-being and quality of life of people living with dementia- many reported feeling helpless, disempowered, disoriented and confused.

Concerns with potential consequences of this decision for people living with dementia who need dementia-specific care & have a right to participate in decisions that affect them.
It's important for people living with dementia to be close to loved ones & have their community nearby. A move to different surroundings can impact dementia symptoms.
