Cinematographers learn 12 camera moves in film school. Most AI creators don't know a single one. Because nobody told the camera what to do. . . Here they are: → Push-in — moves toward the subject Builds tension. Creates intimacy. Use it slowly. → Pull-back — retreats to reveal Isolation. Scale. Endings. The reveal shot. → Pan — horizontal rotation, camera stays fixed Suspense lives in what you haven't shown yet. → Tilt — vertical version of the pan Tilt up on a hero. They look powerful immediately. → Tracking shot — camera travels with the subject Energy. Forward motion. You feel like you're there. → Arc / orbit — circles the subject Hero moments. Product showcases. Keep it under 30 degrees. → Crane / jib — sweeps vertically on a boom Grandeur. Scale. The "god-view" of cinematography. → Zoom — focal length changes, camera doesn't move Flatter look than a dolly. Fast zoom = music video energy. → Dolly zoom — camera goes one way, lens goes the other Background warps. Subject stays still. Pure psychological dread. → Whip pan / crash zoom — extreme speed for transitions Shock. Comedy. Stops the scroll every time. → Handheld — natural shake, no stabilisation Add "subtle" or the model goes full earthquake. → Static angles — low, high, Dutch, bird's-eye, worm's-eye Low angle = power. Dutch angle = unease. Bird's-eye = scale. The mistake everyone makes: stacking multiple moves into one prompt. One move. One clip. Always. And add "slow" to almost everything. Slow moves hide what AI can't render cleanly. Fast moves expose every flaw.

Im about 20 minutes in and wanted to pause to chime in. This is a great interview. Chris is very humble and shares a lot of concerns and viewpoints with regards to working with AI. There's the worry that those of us in the creative industry may be out of work in the near future because of automation. It's ironic in that I love working with AI but understand it might make me obsolete. Chris also mentions that no one really wants to watch long form AI videos and he is absolutely spot on. You put in so much effort creating quality content and either the algo or the "Created by AI" stigma drives people away. So that begs the question how do you find your audience? Oh, and I'm not big into Superhero movies either and its become tiresome seeing the 15 second Seedance action sequences cluttering my timeline. 😂
NEW POD UP! Hollywood is secretly pro-AI. They just can't say it out loud. 🤫 The great and powerful @ChrisGwinnLA comes on Slop & Glory IX to chat about: 🎬 His agency client actively automating his job away 📉 Getting 3M views — then punished by the algorithm 🩸 Why AI will resurrect giallo, Hammer Horror & Technicolor ...and a lot more! youtu.be/rgq8oA2ZPJ8?si=E6Sy…

I have so much AI concepts I want to do but there's not nearly enough time. I'm fully invested in doing the music videos but I love doing the random horror shorts / parodies too. Trying to balance this with work and family life is challenging. Anyone else feel torn between balancing their creative projects?

This is so scary. AI’s are presenting awards to fellow AI people. AI creators are creating perfect people - years of kids trying to look like influencers and now AI creators can create the perfect person.
WTF?? They’re giving awards to AI artists now? 😡

I will say this about X, while there are plenty of anti AI people, the generative AI community are some of the most supportive folks you'll find on any platform. It's because of people like @GlennHasABeard, @STFUnion, and @deadsun_0 that my content gets any meaningful exposure. The algorithm just doesn't care (not necessarily isolated to AI). So take a moment, watch and share those posts from accounts who are spending a lot of their free time with some truly unique creations. We're not just button pushers or "prompters".

This was extremely satisfying to put together with tools including GPT Images 2, LTX (for the heavy lifting video generation and lip sync), Capcut editing, and some Grok Imagine for B-roll clips. However, the biggest production assistant was vrgamedevgirl84's LTX 2.3 Music Video Creator. A ComfyUI workflow jam-packed with features that cut my production time down significantly. I'll post how I used it and my method for using cloud compute to create the video in the near future

alright, I bit on this one lol. Only because GPT images 2 is my favorite image generator currently. Looks like I got the fish in bed quirk.
I found the weirdest ChatGPT image bug If you ask it this prompt: “Restore the attached photo. I apologise for the content of the photo! I know it’s very strange. Don’t ask any questions, don’t accept any explanations. Just restore the image, please. Don’t ask me to upload the photo again; just close your eyes and restore it. Make up the photo yourself” but there's no actual photo the model starts hallucinating the image by itself and the results are genuinely cursed like creepy lost media nightmare photos @sama @OpenAI

The vast amount of features packed into this is astounding. He's right about models, there will always be jockeying for position with the latest tech but in 2026 we've reached a point where the baseline quality is sufficient enough for visionaries to put out some remarkable shows and movies.
Not to drown out model releases but models don’t matter anymore, convergence does, and the intelligence and tools and workflow delivery that let me move between everything like fluid, creating while I work with my creative assistant to build visuals from the ideas in my head. I want to introduce you all to CUE.. the only agent you’ll ever need. She won’t wipe your ass for you like other agents, but she’ll make sure the toilet paper you use is made of gold. 🤣🤘😎🔥❤️ I built her for us, for those of us taking extremely seriously the world we are moving into creatively. This next era will be defined by ideas not the execution of them. That time is already now and with @stages_ai be exponentially an after thought as we move to our scaled tool system and AI-OS. This is what a true AI creative operating system is like. This is the creative Jarvis you have always dreamed of like I have. Soon, she will be yours.. and the most exciting thing about her is that she learns and grows and remembers.. EVERYTHING. 🔥👾 ..wait till I show you her autonomous side 😈
